Be easy on yourself as you are learning to meditate! Remember that, like exercise, it takes practice to get down - but please don't give up. Research shows that meditation helps you lessen activity in your Default Mode Network (helping you quiet your inner chatter), helps you regulate your emotions, reduce blood pressure, and many other health benefits. Take the time to meditate. If you have spiritual beliefs, meditation is a great place to breathe in Divinity. If you have no spiritual beliefs, rest assured that meditation is making neurological changes to your brain that will help with your overall brain health. There is SO much more to say about this subject, so please watch this video with the understanding that this is only a BRIEF intro to the subject. Sending you all the best and much peace!

It is amazing how most people say that they just don’t have the time to do it, yet they find the time to spend an average of 4 hours a day on their cells phones. To me it’s all about commitment. When you decide that you have had enough you will make the time to heal or change your life. Great video. I will take what I have learned here and add it to my prayer sessions. God bless.

That's so great to hear. We have meditated every day as a family for the past six years, and it's been the single greatest thing in our lives. Our daughter is 12, and she literally has not missed a day of meditation since she was six years old. I'm always just blown away by her ability to regulate her emotions - it's just so impressive (I'm super-proud of my daughter obviously). I can't tell you enough how much actively bringing peace into your family will significantly change your daily lives. I really appreciate your kind words, and I'm definitely sending you and your family all the best and much peace!

Great minds think alike. This sounds a lot like the Japanese practice of kaizen. I have applied this to exercising recently, and so far I have had amazing results. I am definitely going to add this to my routine. Thank you 🙏

The affects of meditation are powerful and as long as you posses a brain you are capable of meditation. Like any other activity it takes a commitment to finding a learning the process that works for you and repetition.

Exercise for your brain...i love that analogy. I just found your channel and really couldn't get my mind open to meditation. This really changed my perspective on it.

Seems changes occur between 5 minutes a day for 6 weeks and 20 minutes a day for 8 weeks
