I put my meepo parts on a customized trick deck. Now I want to learn to sk8 4 real. :P Weight is 15lbs. Original meepo was 15.4lbs. Having said that, this board is much easier to carry, because it's short, compact and better balanced.
Dirk Gentley yeah, I don't like lugging around the longboard and it's kind weird to me. If I find a nice cruiser deck, maybe I'll record the process of setting it up.
Nice! I love it. Looks like it works really well. Better than mine on my diy board. Just ordered a meepo... and I was thinking about doing a deck change on it. A video on your build would be rad. :-)
Love it mate, you should try and get a proper skater to put it to the test. I took the meepo down to a skate park and luckily bumped into a sponsored pro who put the meepo to the test. Video coming soon.
Dave Sabourin I think I have some friends that want to put a different deck and make their boards like tanks. I'll probably record when I do it for them. I was just focused on this and too lazy to record
Works well! It's mostly because it's easier to ollie with the heavy side in the front and it feels safer to push the tail down when the motor isn't turning under it.
