So Karl basically predicted half of Black Mirror during this show just to get laughed at by Ricky and Steve. Real genius sometimes goes unnoticed and mocked 🤣
Carl is a simple minded man ,that why it's hilarious because he thinks monkeys fly rockets and rob banks etc , of course the most idiotic people will say some things that sound right, anyone who thinks he is smart should be on the show too making us laugh more
I love the idea that karl is the same in person as he is in the animation, steven and ricky pissing themselves laughing and hes just sat their dead pan no expression😂 3 legends for sure
Can we just appreciate the fact that all of his film ideas actually made it to film or TV. His first two ideas were episodes of Black mirror and the third in the storyline of Benjamin Button.
@@ruby-xo8qr Black mirror is a TV show and in one episode a woman is in a coma and her consciousness is implanted in her Husbands head. In a different episode of the same show a man invents a device which doctors can use to feel the patients injuries, helping them to better diagnose patients. I'll not give the ending away to either episode but i'll say they're quite dark but definitely worth a watch. Benjamin Button is film about a guy born old who get younger.
I love Karl’s mind, it’s so simple at first than his ideas sounds so rubbish and ridicule but it turns out they’re in line with the ideas some expert may have in their subjects. That’s what an imaginative mind is able to do. Everything he says sounds so childish sometimes it seems to lack depth but it turns out there is no better dream than a child’s one
Basically, Karl lacks the vocabulary to articulate his ideas effectively. Sometimes he lacks sufficient education in a subject to find the words to describe something accurately, for example medicine. Other times he is just playing it up to get a reaction out of Ricky. For example, when he was talking about somebody getting "upped" at work. Like come on, nobody is that stupid.
I think most people actually agree with Karl. The little voice in your head which tells you to conform with society every day... Karl doesn’t have that
@@lenaoreilly3647 thats his problem and his film idea is basically Bein John Malkovich and sexual orientation conversation is really the lgbt debate or binary debate theyre things that are actually in topic now so it’s interesting even though this is funny but stuff he says is partly true now
Honestly i wish i was stupider and i know that sounds stupid as like "oh i'm too smart" but i am as stupid as the next guy, i wish i was stupider in a sense that i just dont care. Having such a free mind seems so nice.
@@adidnac it's not an act but he's not stupid he knows he's funny, comedic timing, these podcasts and shows are him being himself but slightly exaggerated.
Not really. You must be a moron if you think that's deep. It's like me saying a belly full, is a belly empty, made up on the spot. Say I have a broken bulb, I replace it, problem solved. No problem caused. The fuse on a plug goes, I can easily replace, problem solved, none caused. Need to dry my clothes, pop outside or on the radiators, solved. None caused. Could keep going with them
I’m chronically ill and disabled and when I was a kid I had the exact idea of the machine where the doctor feels what I feel so they could figure out what’s wrong. Might not have taken 10 years to diagnose me if that was real lol
I'd like to see crowd funding organised to make this film come to life. Get Clive Owen and Rebecca de Morneu to star in it and the kicker is Clive Owen's character is called Clive Warren.
Thank you for putting this together. My cat was sick and died in my arms on Saturday and this is helping keep my mind off how horrible it was for him. It’s been really painful replaying in my mind over and over. This is helping distract me. Thank you!
@@xdbladed6554 How is thanking the person who edited this together and talking about how Karl’s comedy helped me during a painful time not relevant to a video of Karl Pilkington that someone edited together? Pretty shitty response, dude.
there are idea's that Karl has that i actually find interresting. like his machine that makes the doctor feel the patients pain. it sounds silly, but i can see a use for it. for instance, the pain of kidney stones feels different from the pain of an infected appendix for instance.
@@gazillionandone19 Omg i thought i was the only one who realised that. it’s so strange that karl has actually come up with some of the most thought provoking episodes of black mirror
It gets me EVERYTIME... this is your problem... YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING. Then continues a Normal conversation! Hahahah Ricky is a the best hype man for Karl’s bullshit. It’s perfect
@@thesegundovolante Gervais is a national treasure. In NO WAY does he gennuinely feel Karl is less than him - it was XFM's whole idea to bring this "common" fellow on and rip seven shades out of him. Karl even hangs out at Ricky's regularly.
31:07 I love that I’m not the only weirdo saving bugs from pools lmao we have a temporary pool in the summer - I go out every morning and evening to check for bugs that are stuck in there. It’s sad to go and scoop out dead ones, knowing that I’d neglected to go check when I know they’re out there helplessly stuck
@49:30 - superb insight - the machine he describes seems a nice analogy for the concept of 'transference' between clinician and patient in the medical setting :)
2:56 I love that Karl actually asked Ricky what they’d invented in the 19TH century that made someone say that everything that was possible had been invented already - NOT what was subsequently invented in the 20th century
This may come as a shock to you but everything isn't about sex and everyone isn't obsessed about sex. Shocking eh? Some of us actually think about other things.
To my fellow Americans, when Ricky calls Karl a " bald headed Manc", a "Manc" is someone from Manchester England. I thought it was just another insult until I learned later its just a place of origin.
Both ricky and Steve laughed at carl before they ever truely dissected the things that carl was actually saying. The amount of stuff that did actually make sense if you translated it from moron, is actually unreal. "If I was cloned, how would I know I was me?" That makes perfect sense. All memories before being cloned would be implanted in both the original and the clone. How would you know if you were the original if you had the exact same memories and body? Ignoring tattoos, piercings, etc...
Not really, it is relevant to vaccines you have to take before going to a certain country, like against malaria, not a vaccine against the flu or Covid
