I'm a big fan of the Biolite Campstove. That's the older model that generates it's own electricity to run the fan that makes the stove more efficient. Surplus power can be used to recharge electronic devices. I have the whole bundle.. Stove, Pot, & Grill. Yes, there are cheaper products, but part of Biolite's business model is to design wood stoves that are much cleaner burning for use in 3rd world locations. i camp on an island with people like paula every weekend and cannot get people to appreciate this stuff. until they come out. then they say ,why didnt you tell me this was so cool. and i say , i did for ten years. Get out and do it. relax, be calm , be cool.

Paula, you are absolutely fabulous with your exuberant passion for living healthy, loving nature and willingness of shouting it to the world with such a huge smile and in such a good natured manner - how can anyone get mad at you with such an approach ?!!! Plus you have the smarts, the education, the facts, the know how as they say. Their are not alot of people that think this way in the grand scheme of things but the tides are changing, people all over have started to realize you are what you eat, you are how you live and living mostly stress free is good. I am glad I found your You Tube video Adventure Guy to listen to such positive folks - one more thing back in the day, along time ago (I sound old), anyways, everything was naturally organic and we all had exubertant energy through most of an entire day with a satisfied tiredness at the end of the day because of physical activity but we are normal who have always kept eating and living that way, having tons of energy, not labeled hyperactive - it is the world , processed, chemical foods that makes many energy lacking humans today think of the ones of us with the health nuts label, jumping around, doing stuff as different ones. I want all the people to feel good and as Paula said, it really is only a few cents to a dollar more 99% of the time. Thank You Adventure Man and Happy Traveling and Camping to you All !!!

Love Paulas energy & love her van set up. I've seen pop ups before but the small bathroom & that swing out table are such great ideas can't believe I haven't seen them in a van before. I'm totally stealing them when I finally get to build my van I've been dreaming of for years. Love the inspiration.

I like the idea of the tailgate down to cope with the extra length, weight and balance etc .. I used to do stay away camping in an old V W T25 and I liked to place wind chimes near the exits as an early warning system of possible intruder or other trouble but they were never needed.. Better to have and not need than need and not have... Placed where there is no draft or near windows if it wasn't too windy.. Plus I had my dog with me.. It helped get us a good nights sleep. Obviously choose your location wisely if you park up for the night too.

Thanks to Paula for the tour and to Brian for putting it together. One person commented about taking this pop up into bear country...I've tent camped in bear country. You have to be smart about food storage and cooking when you're in places where bears live. Be smart and protect yourself and protect the bears.

This camper is absolutely amazing. I'd love to have one of those myself. I'm 58 and so tired of struggling to get my rent paid, all that money going down the literal drain and a landlord who keeps his boot on my neck 24/7/365. People coming in and destroying my home (subtenants) and stealing from me. I'd give anything to get my hands on one of these. That's the best truck camper I've ever seen.

I love that little bathroom, I’ve never seen anything like that yet. She didn’t mention the track in the ceiling that would allow you to put a shower curtain around and stand up to shower there. Beautiful rig, awesome spirit 💗

X2 on her comments about LL Bean Gear. I used to shop there way back when they only had their one store. We'd stop every year on our way to the annual fly fishing trip in Maine. They'll take back any item at any time........true story.......my dad brought his LL Bean Boots in to be resoled. They were 30 yrs old....he put them on the counter and the lady asked if he'd like a refund! Then he politely explained, no he'd just like to pay to have them resoled, which they happily did and mailed them back a few weeks later.

AdventureVanMan-- What a great interview! I just subscribed, because I hope to see more like this one. Paula is just the sort of person I like having in my life. Positive, intelligent and passionate about everything she does. Many of the TROLLS could learn a lot from her if they really took the time to hear her. And I have never seen a pop up truck camper before, very cool and it seems more roomy than the enclosed ones with the dark wood. This was bright and breezy looking. I was a little confused though about the pop up: Can that stay up during a storm? It definitely is for the warmer regions of the country. Thanks Brian for a great interview.!!
