Same reason why freestyle skateboarding died for awhile. Street skaters are so rigid. But there are so many skaters who said fuck that and merged freestyle and street again. Check out Andy Anderson and Killian Martin.

I remember absolutely haaaating this guy when I first saw it. In my head it was an invasion of the kind of "cool" guys from school that were good at sports into what I felt was something special for dorks and lanky weirdos like me. Looking back now, I was so wrong, and probably jealous. This guy is incredible and so cool and creative, I wish I had seen that back then. This video really opened my eyes, great work Jimmy.

This was brilliant. As an old older skater that just had had enough of the scene by 2005 let alone skated, I had never seen William before. I am so happy JTG made this so I could see. I love what William represents as a skater and as a human. If we had more people like him on this Earth it would be a far more beautiful place. Respect from Australia, Jimmy & William. ✌

How insane is that that freaking Andrew freaking Garfield adopted your personality traits and mannerisms. William seems like one of the most down to earth good dudes I’ve ever seen. I was also so shocked and inspired to hear him say how afraid he is of doing tricks or stunts but that he pushes through it to overcome that fear and see what’ll happen by pushing through it and how far he will go from it. This video was so great.

I agree! So a actor stole gladly he admitted it. To become a bit William, the beautiful thing is is that Will is just this way he is pure himself. But I also know how good Williams acting is in combo with being him. A true legend who absolutely needs credits now after so long bot enough especially cause he's 40 now. It's about time !😎💪🏽

I remember when he was a little boy. Fearless little kid but just as sweet as could be. He is my wife’s cousin. Got to see his older brothers for Christmas last year. Genuinely great people.

That Hallorado video was so rad. I seen William skate around 2008 and he skated the way you would imagine the tasmania devil to skate. He was creative and fast. It was cool.

This lad is an absolute hero. I love his crossover between skateboarding and free running. As someone who has dabbled in both sports myself he is a breath of fresh air. Reminds me a little of Andy anderson but he is just a different type of skater altogether.

I used to skate with him and his brother in 98/99. They are both extremely talented and I wasn't surprised at all to see William become as well recognized as he did.
