Kieran is something else, that triple flair was insane.

Ok I don’t mean to short shame or anything but you can’t deny physics, Kieran is realistically like 5’4’ or something? Dude is below average short, nothing against it it’s still just as dangerous and just as impressive, but I can’t help but wonder if the less rotational mass plays a big part, and we won’t see the triple flair ever again. I just think it’s funny if there’s a trick in BMX that you can only do if you’re short.

@slingshotvibe as a big kieran fan, no shot. He's yet to land a triple flip and there's no way he could jump from 2 to 5. Neither he's used to go THAT big. I believe the triple flair setup was the biggest one he's jumped and compared to those quad flip stuff, it's not that big, plus you'd have to go even bigger to get one more flip. He won't do 5. Maybe if he decided to practice flips really hard he could get 5 done in some distant future, but i assume someone more experienced would've done 5 by then and Kieran wouldn't be the first one. I'd love to see him try a triple flip. With the triple flair under his belt, a triple flip feels like it shouldn't be hard for him. After all people have done 3 and even 4 flips, while being unable to land a triple flair. So with this in mind, he could probably catch up with 3 and eventually 4 flips, but he's more of a horizontal rotation guy, I'd say. Some rotation some whips and bars and that's it. I'm hoping to see a 1260 or 1440 from him

@@Mypenisissmallbut That's standard for action sports though. Gymnasts have been short for decades. There's a hell of a lot of short people out there and none of them have hucked a triple flair. Give the man the credit he deserves.

In bmx freestyle we all seriously root for one another and pump each other up. Doesn't matter the competition, or the prize winnings, bmx freestyle is a deeply emotional sport in which us riders just love the hell out of it and want to enjoy it with one another. We want to see the sickest riding, and watch each other push our own boundaries. While "winning" is awesome, pumping each other up and having a killer time with everyone doing what we love is the main goal.

Ive never really felt it and always felt in competition with everyone around me.. the urban climbing community is so toxic where I live... nobody works together and its a clout competition about who knows the best places and how to get there.. and everyone keep their shticks secretive slowing down the hobby to a ridiculous level and turning it into a toxic war between like minded people... They want to protect the spots with their secretive shits but they take pictures of themselves showing how to access them.... like..... And if you dont know the best spots and just enjoying a small climb for fun and DARE to post your sub-optimal climbs and pictures, instead of being happy for the guy that did something on his own they will call him a toy and intimidate him until his online presence is gone.... This kind of behavior is truly toxic.

I met the guy and had some pretty RAD conversations/texts with him, maybe 4 years ago at The Factory here in Minneapolis, Minnesota (No longer exists). Funny enough, I hadn't even seen the movie RAD yet, and he invited me and my friends to watch it with him. Didn't work out, but would have made for quite the story haha
