Meet The Birds | Duke the Lanner Falcon 

The idea of Duke screeching at peregrines like an angry old man telling kids to get off his lawn is so charming to me. I get that it's Duke's territory and he's not doing it to be funny but I do find it amusing nonetheless.

This is the best thing on youtube right now. It's like an ongoing documentary.

He's got lots of 🖤patterns on his body !😍He is a gorgeous bird ! I love falcons so much ! The way they dive ( velocity )is AMAZING ! I had seen some document before of a professor & his family living w/ a falcon who slept w/ his head on his pillow side way !!! Next to them ! And he flew w/ his professor ( skydiving )& the professor was taking his falcon's record . One day he realized his falcon was always pacing w/ him & didn't dive faster because HE WANTED TO ENJOY THE FLYING W/ HIS FRIEND PROFESSOR !!! The professor told him not mind him & go faster .The falcon did ! He had the world record for the fastest velocity speed & that day he broke his own record ! He made the new world record !!! 👏👏👏💜💜💜💜🥁🎵🎤🎶🐉💖💕💞

So all he does is sit around all day. Then Netflix and chills with his girlfriend. Gets her pregnant and have 5 babies at one time. Then go around flying and showing off at shows. Then getting good food from you all the time without hunting. Well, I say he has an awesome life.

1.53 mins in....you have a look in your eyes that I know well. The local Corvids and i have become friends over time. They now daily come say hi, sometimes feed, sometimes just to display and say hi. I feel the way you look when "my" lol...Magpies, Jackdaws, and a pair of ravens....I melt every day in different ways .......

I love what you do for the birds. I’m lucky that where we live there is a lot of wildlife. Among some of the birds, we have eagles, hawks, owls, and even osprey as we live on a lake. We’ve always got the binoculars handy so we can check out what’s going on. The education and awareness that you provide the public is so important. You allow people to see the value in these species.
