Meet The Lexington! Tier 7 American Aircraft Carrier (World of Warships Legends Xbox Series X) 4k 

I LOVE CARRIERS! Some of my best games in the T5 Ranger! I recently got the Lex for my Bureau project requirement, working for Saipan! (YES, Spending a Research project on a Legendary Carrier, I love CV's that much)!! I've had some games in Ranger with 3-4 kills, being the one guy tipping the favor of some games in my teams favor! Anyway. I appreciate your video, and acknowledge your reluctance in flying carriers in gen... my maiden voyage of Lex and I played like CRAP! I couldn't do sh**! I survive. My team didn't need my help fortunately! I manage to spot a few. Couldn't get close enough to land any targets. Part of my problem was not knowing or recognising the lead time, but I was getting shredded too soon if I waited too long! Part of the problem, Lex was 20 mil silver, I barely had 21 mil. I have nothing to spend on Mods! I do have King though, and the first guy you mentioned. I have a different inspiration I forget who on the second slot. Anyway. thanks again for video!

It seems to me that carriers are primarily support. You use them to spot the enemy and assist in damaging them. If you use them with that in mind then you’ll be more effective. If you don’t, you’ll end up destroyed and disappointed.

I actually average 100k to 150k and often land on top of my team's score board in my Lexington. I thought carriers were weak at first but as I got better and learned some tricks I ended up causing the enemy a lot of trouble.

as a carrier main: step 1: launch fastest planes and spot all enemy ships. step 2: target destroyers or single cruisers with weak AA. step 3: Sporadically spot all ships throughout the match during your transit to targets. step 4: nudge battleships into bad positioning with torps. That's really all you need to do to do your part as a carrier.

Carriers are definitely support ships. They won’t be that great playing solo, but if you run this in a division with a competent BB? That’s huge. If you do your job and the BB does his, suddenly that BB always knows where the enemy DDs, eliminating one of the BBs biggest threats. That level of teamwork is rare, granted, but great BB players that pair with great CV players are going to be infinitely more dangerous.

I've kinda figured out that if you've achieved 40k in a carrier you've had a pretty decent game. When they get to the point of getting spotting notifications and achievements that will help even more.

Hello Spartan, indeed the role of the carrier is a quit interesting, not the direct confrontation or damage, but the spotting position or the cap possibility by using that amazing possibility of autopilot is quite important to have in the team. I can wait to try it as well. 👏🏼🇨🇭🇵🇹

You can select multiple waypoints. Just keep selecting squares from the minimap.

The Lexington and Saratoga were completed with four dual barrel 8” guns mounted in super-firing pairs fore and aft of the superstructure and stacks. But I guess that’s too much of an advantage over the other carriers haha.

My teammate played Shokaku with us in a division, did approx 70 to 80 k damage and also received average 1400-1600 base XP...

I like to present some important info about concealment from aircrafts. 1. Camouflage doesn't help you hide from aircrafts only ships 2. commanders base traits (Kondõ,Mikawa,Bey...) improve your concealment from aircrafts also Graf spee skill ghost gives the biggest buff 3. Concealment system mod also give you improve concealment from aircrafts

we were all sitting in Xarkuns stream and he got in a match with you when you were in the Lexington and we were all like "kill spartan kill spartan"

I think it was the best move for World of Warship Legends to add aircraft carriers to the game❣️

Always remember spartan if you are on a aircraft Drop the torps at front of the enemy If the enemy warship is to fast Same to dive bombers Because only your allies battleship will finishing them off other your plane will do a scout missions

CV's do help with the destroyer problems. as far as offense, CV's work best in a division. talking to your teammates about which enemy ships have lost a lot of AA defense is very helpful. Same goes for spotting.

I'm fine with carriers not able to do a lot of damage. The only thing I would change is reduce the damage from bomb hits a bit and decrease the spread of bombs a bit. This would make CV's a bit better at harassing destoyers, which are a bit op in Legends, and make gameplay a little less frustrating as nothing is worse than braving a ton of AA fire, lining up your planes, and timing your aim perfectly only for your bombs to perfectly strattle the target and do nothing.

I was getting 16-18k HE bomb strikes on an Alaska. You hit their carrier for like 19k... definitely does damage

Would there be any benefits if 1 commander used both carrier commanders as inspirations to help buff the AA range? Or would there be no stacking buffs from that setup?

This game would’ve been perfect for me if they implemented RTS for mnk support(somehow balanced). Aaannnd if they would put the spawns some kilometers back.

i like aircraft carriers but the have really good concealment and it makes it hard to find them and that can be a pain bc when ur the last person and a aircraft carrier is out there that is also the last person they have a big advantage against you cause they are at the back of the map and if your ship isn’t fast enough there just going to annoy you until the end of the game

Recently I've been trying to get to the teir 5 ranger, and I had a game where I got 60k damage in teir 3 Langley. I enjoy the ships but wouldn't play them all the time.

Auto pilot is good - Insignia for 1st win in each cv is generous - They have started the CVs very weak - I expect them to be gradually improved as players complain about how little impact they have - although that poor Shima was in the no fun zone for his whole game - I love the challenge to get a Kraken when you are in a 4 vs 4 game - Matchmaking is a bit crazy right now
