Fund our public education system on a national level, not just a state level. The gaps in understanding of civics and history are frightening. And if some viewers didn't benefit from a quality public school, then media needs to step in on accurate information. Instead, this anchor said nothing. Why are you voting for a third party candidate you know nothing about? Aren't you aware that the Kennedy clan very publicly stated that RFK jr should not be supported on the basis of their family name? What was the result of a third party in 1968?? Nixon. Vote carefully everyone. 🗽💙🌊🗽

Academic standards and curriculum should be on a national level, not state by state. Certain red states seem to have a vested interest in starving their public schools and creating undereducated students. Undereducated voters seek less engagement with their representatives, are less likely to unionize, more likely to settle for low wage dead end jobs, less likely to demand accurate curriculum and fully stocked school libraries, etc.

How about mandatory graduation requirements. Not remedial school or GED. Actual high school. By age 30 or so, maybe they will graduate. lol

Not sure what you mean by "remedial school"? GED is a necessary option because sometimes life happens and interrupts schooling. GED provides a pathway to fill that gap. Most GED programs include classroom instruction to prepare for the exam. A high GED score can be used as a pathway to college. A person who returns to complete their education at age 30 is an inspiring thing! Older students are highly motivated because they are back in school for all the right reasons, not taken to school by their parents even though they don't want to be there. Enjoy, be well.

Omg. The abortion right does not depend on how you personally feel. Of course no one ever wants to get one but you are not being asked to decide for yourself. The decision is fairness to women to have a choice. The question is not whether you would choose to abort, it is whether you want scared and desperate women to have a choice that affects their future. To be honest, abortion is a simple procedure, it is not a horrifying experience as you, the entitled people, seem to think. It is a personal choice that does not require anyone else's opinions or restrictions. This is coming from someone who is thankful that I was fortunate enough to have legal and safe abortions when I was not ready for parenthood, emotionally or financially.

I don't trust Welker. I don't know what it is about her but I do not trust her. Maybe it's how she squints her eyes when she disagrees with someone. Maybe it's how she TELLS you what people are "thinking" like she's a mind reader or something. Not sure why I ended up on this channel- I was watching a good cooking show.
