18:33 "this is good music to giddy-up to" Yes, that's the music that makes me think I'm on a mission to save the universe even if I'm just sitting at home folding laundry
16:25 - Talking about the webcam getting blurry. You did this at the exact same moment with each run. I started to play the videos next to each other and sync them up, and they're nearly identical. How does that happen?! haha I love it.
That was a pretty good run. If not for the video lag at the waterfall (which seems to have caused a break in concentration) and the trouble getting rhythm going at the eight boss battles, that would have easily been a sub 30.
One thing about this game I remember is the time stopper being one of the most brutal methods to kill a boss in any game I've played then and since. Quickman's strongest advantage taken completely away while he just melts. Iirc, a full time stopper will eat 50% of Quickman's HP. In manga terms, Mega Man can detect your energy and use the powers of your fallen comrades against you. Be warned Quickman, if your energy falls to 50%, it's over. Mega man is broke AF.
I have played mega man 2 a lot and the best time I ever got was between 45 or 47 minutes if I could do just one glitch correctly at least be a big deal.
MM2 is my favorite title to watch speedruns for. The pause buffer to extend your jump is something I've seen used with a zip on Wily 2, but I've never seen it used in Air Man's stage. Great work!
