When you run into an EX or SP version of a previous boss and you haven't saved in a while and you're like "Well FUCK." unless you're playing it on the Wii U or on an emulator with savestates.
That's nothing compared to exploring around Green Town Network during your first visit, finding the Undernet entrance near the Christmas tree and walking right into Bass with a mediocre folder and 300 HP. This happened to me just today as I'm only now playing through this game blind. It was both funny and infuriating ; I think it must have been an intentional troll move from the devs.
Lol. I remembered that time when I'm messing around with slashman and somehow got to undernet and fought bass. What pains me is I never saved before fighting him. Lmao
God, where is this capcom? This awesome company that melted our hearts with excellent games, story and soundtrack. Look what they can cook up with a few bits and bytes of sound. The old Capcom was absolute godllike, now its just a shadow of its former self. I feel sad inside...
Capcom amounts to nothing but Street Fighter and Resident Evil nowadays. They rarely use any of their other IPs, with the only other I can remember getting any actual media coverage being Phoenix Wright (which is another series I love). The only other thing they really do now is release an archive collection every now and then.
nothing will ever beat this generation of gaming. there are few exceptions that meet them but goodness my excitement will never be dulled when i pick up my gameboy & replay some old goodies ^^
Megaman.exe: Breaks down door, holding & gripping bubbleman tightly... All World 3 Navis watch TV, then turn to look at megaman Blastman: opens the door with popcorn and a happy face...
@@casperd2100 Here's the thing, they're adding a way to get the event only chips, the games are based on the japanese versions (so there's the Jack in animationw for BN2 and BN3 and the postgame areas for BN6 are back), online multiplayer, and bug fixes, so it's not JUST a rom collection, you can tell they actually care about what they were working with.
One of the reason why this boss theme is the best: its very raw and powerful. Then you Beast Out(or be prepared to get hit by Breath of Gregar/Falzar courtesy of Bass) as Gregar roars/ Falzar screeches
MattVsEveryBody Gosh no. the nightmare of the graveyard area. Luckily i had the bass killer folder at the ready. the only trade off was i only had 900 hp sooo.....that was fun
KanjoosMakhichoos Yeah, once I got his attack patterns down I just kept using AntiDamage program without fail. Actually, after beating BassBX (with only 1 HP left) and going back to ProtomanFZ with what is undoubtedly a stronger folder, I did worse because I wasn't used to Protoman's attack patterns any more.
Yeah IKR. Also my protoman FZ folder was useless against Bass BX. Nice profile pic btw. I used to draw colonel Soul all the time in 7th grade art class, xD
Me: Havent saved in awhile surfing the net Also me: hears surge of power come on looks at circus man. Oh shiiii- Me aftet incident: okay that was a little accident but now everythings ok- Surge of power comes on Looks at Judgeman Me: you've got to be kidding me
*runs into Blastman SP *gathers chips *accidentally got Whitcapsul and Vulcan3 in with that one Icegrenade chip and Tornado *Counters *Hits with Vulcan3 *Kills in under 20 seconds
My god the choice of snare drums with and the muddy ass bass make this song sound cold and militaristic, but also fun with the chords! Its a golden ass song!
When you're fighting a Navi with prepared Chips and overpowered strategies, this goes hard. When you accidentally encounter an SP form with 1HP, this hits different.
I think of Bass whenever I hear this song cause he was the only boss that ever gave me a hard time. Circus Man was a close second the first time I fought him.
I haven’t played this since my old computer broke down. I recently started it back and sometime short after you beat Blast Man you can accidentally find him in his EX form and I was like dammit it’s too soon! He had 800 HP but I still had my skills and didn’t break a sweat even with how weak you are at that time. But then I came across him in his SP form and said oh fuck this! And ran
It is so freaking hard for me to beat circusman sp he moves and attacks faster and his cage attack deals much more damage and one hit kills me even at full health. Circusman is my favorite megaman villain by far
All the SP Bosses ranged from pathetic (looking at you, BlastMan and EraserMan) to OK. Heck, CircusMan isn't even that tough, you just have to have good reflexes and pick and choose when to land a counter hit on his lion-whipping attack and execute a good combo. But DiveMan is just stupid. I can never safely find an opening when I'm incessantly getting hit by his torpedoes.
i know it's three years later, but i gotta just say: he always moves in a straight line when he's submerged. whenever he runs out of room to move, he pops up for a second before submerging and continuing. (he doesn't actually attack until after he's done this once, usually) this is your window: dodging is easy if you stand in the center because there will never be three in a row. you should be timing his progress in your head, and prepare to be in the right position. but otherwise you just have to focus purely on dodging or reacting for an easy punish if he does one of his long, slow attacks that cant reach the back of your area
@@Saberdud i played this series when i was 14, now i am 21 and about to graduate.. whenever i remember those times when life is really good. i want to cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭
