Waddle Dee's have more options and even some similiar options to Goomba's, plus they have a bit more durability as they don't die one hit. Goombas are faster but also less intelligent. They probably have equal strength, so I'd say Waddle Dee's would win.

Both Kirby and Mario's universes are extremely cartoony, and Wario's indestructability has actually become a mechanic in some of his games. That's why I don't like Death Battles between cartoony characters quite so much, but this one was worth it.
