@@main7168In my opinion , it would've been cooler if the Quick Boomerang restored your ammo (by the exact amount of energy needed to fire 1, so a 1:1 sort of thing) when the boomerangs returned to you if you missed while only consuming ammo if they actually hit, but yeah, I can see it. So Quick Boomerang if you wanna have a fun Buster alt. Or Metal Blade of you just wanna get done fast.
+OmegaExalted You'd think an evil "genius" would've thought about making an inescapable room full of Instant Death Spikes WAY before he made a Spring Man!
+OmegaExalted Spring Man would've at least been a change from the 100 other times we've seen Cut Man get his ass whipped. Mega Man's going to kill them all anyway, so if Wily used Spring Man instead at least he's being somewhat sensible in that maybe a new idea will work. Instead of using the same retarded lackey over and over again for two fucking seasons expecting a different result.
Yeah some of the animation is done at Ashi Productions, who specialize in doing really cool shit I believe the first episode also had some stuff done by them
Xavier Ortiz,I won't say "mega" because each main character has their own buster named after them, including the X series Proto Man- "Proto" Buster Mega Man- "Mega" Buster Bass- "Bass" Buster X- "X" Buster I know Bass doesn't appear in this show but you know
not gonna lie, Metalman's design in this show is sick. minus the red eyes, his metal blade roller skates are fucking awesome, plus the fact he can just turn his hands into metal blades
I've never watched this show, but I've been enjoying these short clips from it. One thing I noticed was Mega Man's buster sound effect. It's the same one that is used when you get the second Arwing upgrade in the infamous Star Fox Adventures
cutman: owned by toaster metalman: Bludgeoned into ground by giant metal pipe gutsman: falls through hole in the ground megaman: blown up by faulty time machine man, wtf Ruby Spears?
I agree with you, Kinison. That's one thing I loved about this show. Roll had a way of turning her "housekeeping functions" into weapons and at least tried to fight.
skystrike89 considering metal man is usually the first (and possibly one fo the easiest) robot masters to beat and his weapon is the best when mega uses it....i tihnk they've caught that accuratley
IKR? This was basically made in a time where cartoon adaptations of video games never followed the source material (hence why Roll is older and has more of a sidekick role and Guts Man and Cut Man are the Scratch and Grounder of the cartoon).
Cut Man: One-Shot by Roll's toaster Metal Man: One-Shot by Mega Buster Guts Man: Doesn't even do anything and falls down a hole Proto Man: Does absolutely nothing and nothing happens to him Proto Man has learned the ways of Luigi
so let me get this straight...cutman the robot with actual weaponry and I presume combat programming from Wah-wee...lost to the literal house cleaning bot...
One thing I loved about this show was that Megaman had a nice voice. Ian Corlett in my honest opinion provided Megaman with the kind of voice that I would remember for years to come. Plus, I kind a liked Megaman's personality; although not 100% acurate (which is not so bad) he had the ability to distinguish friend from enemy and wouldn't hesitate to fight when necessary. That's how I think Megaman should be like; kind and gentle, but also serious and heroic when he needs to be.
Man this cartoon could've passed the test of time and become a classic you could come back to as an adult. Such awesome animation and besides Mega Man's VA, it had good voice actors. I mean, that's a perfect Wily right there. Why did they make Mega Man a...well..."Man"? They should've stuck with kid Mega Man and Roll.
I also forgot to mention that I like the sound effects that occur when Megaman collects a robot master's weapon. It's so anime-like! In fact I think they should use sounds like that more often!
