So one thing to note about this game is that the rescuable reploids are back in full force from X6, only this time they can die to ANYTHING. Sometimes before you can even see them, which is annoying since they hold powerups for you and thus can be lost forever.
Anyway, first segment of this stage has you jumping from airship to airship, so of course, there's the constant threat of a bottomless pit. With questionable collision detection when it comes to wall jumping, you might just fall to your doom a couple of times. Then after yoi get to the mothership and destroy two cannons and a miniboss, you head inside, which is a lot less pit heavy, but there are still a few. Wind Crowrang himself is fought on a 2D plane, with him flying around in the background a lot. Shoot him down with X or Axl first, then when he lands, feel free to wail on him with Zero if you have him with you. __
