Who are you and what is your name?
My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on RU-vid. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.
Why don't you show your face?
My RU-vid channel is host to my podcast. However, I do make on camera appearances from time to time & have many times in the past- as this is how my channel started, with me on camera talking about whatever. And for those who always ask, yes, I am a black woman, LOL!!!!

Thanks for giving the episode a thumbs up or a thumbs down. If you are going to tell people to just pray for him and not discuss this, you are part of the toxic church culture. We accept genuine repentance and any person's desire to change, those people we stand by and support. BUT, when people are playing PR games and stunts to continue covering up their messes, we will not accept their 'repentance' because it s not genuine. Thank you.

12:50 - You just read my mind! Ever since he introduced that woman to the congregation, something felt off to me, especially regarding the timeline. It was obvious from the children's expressions as well. Having been a member for the past decade, I can say Mrs. Lois is *_immensely_* missed. My gut tells me Dr. Evans is still grieving Lois's departure, and I hope and pray that he and this woman are not bonding over shared trauma.

I wondered about that, too. But then wondered how in the world if she was in GA with her husband and their church where they were doing such great work, how did she have time to build relationship with Tony Evans in TX? I don't even understand how if her focus was there and her husband just died January 2020 and they were married over 20 years. They made it seem like she did all this stuff in ministry, but she just up and left her home church and GA like she really had no bearings there. I know it's possible, but as the pastor's wife in GA, how in the world did she get in Tony Evans vision like that if he's doing church in TX? Well I did research and the connection definitely overlaps. Things look messy.

I tell people often to think for themselves and I agree with you this happens to keep (HUSH)!!! Personally, I don't CARE we ARE all SINNERS! I do know one thing, the person they are trying to hush is the real victim and they are HURTING. I wish people would stop getting right in the middle of someone else's sin by saying don't talk about it just pray. You are just as guilty as the person because you want the sin to stay hidden to protect the guilty party. As an abused child and a child who was molested by my uncle, my mom tried to cover his sin but what about me the VICTIM. I finally had to let her know I wasn't going to be a victim and feel shame over what he did. That is his shame, not mine!

Agree . It sounds like blackmail. It could be a child . He married someone else . Because why now . If it was a long time sin . If it was convicted by the Holly Spirit, what he did not step down long time ago . Sunday after my church service I came by home tune in to OCBF , saw another preacher . He had announced the trip to CABO MEXICO , this was a black mail . He was living the best of time . All expenses of the church was paid . I heard it by him on line . Every Sunday I tune in . Before was at 105.7fm . His daughter Priscilla, only God knows . People are charismatic. Still not necessarily living a sanctify lifestyle. He is the founder of that church with his former wife . Why he need to leave . No one else own the chuch , humanly speaking. I always thought his son will succeed him

You are right. If something happened years ago, why did he not do the righteous thing and step down then? So he was hoping to get away with it forever. I think he got an underaged girl pregnant while he was still married to his first wife. There is something that terrifies me and that is that so many people seem to live enviable lives and when they get to the best years of their lives, the years where they can now sit back and enjoy the fruits of all their labors, they end up going to jail or get cancelled from society. Seems like our past will either be our best friend or our worst enemy.

I, too, suspect an affair but during the time his wife was sick. That would qualify as “several years ago”. I suspect a child resulted from it. Probably as you said, that woman hung around thinking she would get the ring 💍 now that he’s a widow and she’s livid that he married Carla instead. The multiple meetings could have been her calling the elders to report him and threaten exposure (bc she’s probably a current or former church member or staff member). They’ve been trying to deescalate this since the wedding, but to no avail. She probably has a media interview already set up and they knew it was the last straw, they had to force Tony’s hand. That’s my guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Honestly it was the first thing I thought too. I thought the fact that it’s years later apparently, and the “sin” is not being named gives me that feeling that they had to get ahead of the situation because someone threatened to expose whatever secret it is. I’m not judging. I’m just saying that is how the scenario is reading to me.

He's been threatened with legal action or something, hasn't he? 🤔 They seem to think they're executing a good PR strategy, but when the story comes out, it wont affect his reputation or that of the church any less than if he had not 'stepped down' because he/they waited and/or pretended for so long- 'years long'. And I really hope that it's nothing on the level of v!olating or acting inappropriately towards children! Sounds like he had a side baby that may be threatening to come forward. He was adamant it wasn’t a crime so that rules out theft or violence. He was the guest pastor at my church Brooklyn Tabernacle about 3 weeks ago, and I thought his sermon was really good. Such a shame.

I have to say , I thought that was strange how both their spouses passed and were connected and They ends up together. The Lord Has A way That will let you know He sits High and sees everything. I’m not quite sure what it was but I just was never impressed by Him. Discernment?? Maybe, my heart goes out to his children They All seem so sincere. When I read that this was an old sin, my mind thought that he had an affair and produced a child like you stated in this video. The main problem I have more than anything else, is that Dr. Evans was giving the impression that he was a man of God. How was it that he was in "sin" and the "Holy Spirit" did not convict him to stop preaching until he got his soul right with the Lord? How could he be in the pulpit preaching to members of his congregation, or traveling the world preaching the gospel to many and he had a secret "sin?"

So confused... yes, he's *just* a man... don't put anyone on a pedestal... But is the gospel true? Is the Spirit real? Have we been *freed* from the power of sin? Yes. Yes. Yes. If this was just an old, repented of sin, why confess now? Why not just retire with reputation intact? Why give the enemies of God an occasion to blaspheme Him? (2 Samuel 12:14). Is anyone holy? (1 Peter 1:16) This is so distressing. 😢

I can’t lie, when I first heard of his engagement I had many thoughts. It was like was this woman comforting him while his wife was ill? Or perhaps they’ve always been friendly and then their relationship evolved once his first wife died. I also agree that it could be a child. While I respected Dr. Tony Evans, I could not understand how him and his current wife came to be. He and Dr. Lois were friends with Dr. Carla and her husband who died on the way to attending the funeral of Dr. Lois Evans. At some time were they eyeing one another while their spouses were alive? I too feel that someone is or was about to expose Dr. Evans about something he did in the past, yes, it could be a child. Who knows? God knows and if it's for us to know, nothing and no one can stop it from coming to the light.

I have only heard a few of his sermons secondhand because a family member listened to him. Kirk Franklin met with the street preacher who rebuked him outside of his concert. To assist with his defense he brought his pastor Tony Evans, I knew something was wrong. Kirk definitely doesn't know his Bible & Tony couldn't quote a scripture to justify Kirk's refusal to use his platform to win lost souls for God's Kingdom.

I agree on the “hush and pray people.” They’re enablers and most times worst than the offender themselves. They’ll even “hush” you at the funeral, because we “can’t speak ill of the dead.” 🙄

I don’t know why but I wonder if he participated in the “parties” that TD and other pastors allegedly participated. He apparently like them younger being that his wife is 20 yrs younger than he. Just a thought
