I played Shadowrun with a group of very, very patient people. In that they refused to plan or act based on whatever initial conditions the DM or scenario provided and they basically always chose to "Wait for a good opportunity." until the DM made the objective sufficiently easy for them. My attempts to convince them to take action, such as having the character geared for social actions actually... TALK to somebody was usually met with my plan being called stupid and everyone returning to waiting.
My worst DnD experience is waiting 30 minutes for a player to show up for a session before receiving a call that they can't make it tonight. A recurring nightmare of mine.
Playing Mutants and Masterminds and I rolled a super-strength hero/good aligned character, tried to create a minor earthquake-esque tremor to cause a cosmetic distraction in a building and rolled a 1; brought the whole building down 😂
@@clintonbehrends4659pagen doesn't necessarily have anything to do with elves, being pagen means you have religious beliefs that don't fall under any largely recognized religion
The way around this is to have your DnD group play at your church and have the DM be the pastor's husband and also have your pastor be a fellow player (I got lucky)
I made an entire church based on these characters and they worship Hörvath but behave like regular youth pastors outside of church 10/10 would meme again
@@Kohl293 Would explain why he would be in such close proximity to them. Holy men of such caliber cannot interact with the lower classes outside the bedroom.
Damon has the best expressions, also I love the smile Frank has when he says 'he has forsaken me'. Frank's teethy expressions are so good when he plays Titus.
“Tell him about my lord and savior”…”I rolled a 20” DM’s like mmmm okay “he accepts his new lord and savior” 😂😂 “whiles he’s distracted I stab him like a 100 times I rolled another 20”🤣🤣😂
That’s what they said about Harry Potter but all it did was teach me Latin and disappointment. Though I had a better time understanding what the Catholics were saying.
As someone who's plays both clerics and bards. Anyone who says Clerics are borning are playing them wrong. They can be utterly badass, like I played a Tempest domain Cleric Bandit King who served the God of storms
Really this is the best laughs I had in like 3/4years. Please continue to make this AWESOME content. I am sharing these videos, with all my friends. Btw everything is perfect. The expressions of these actors, the costumes, all these small bits of humor bits really finish it. I mean, this is a polished gem. Quality. Makes a person crave for more videos on this channel for sure.
1:03 I’d actually like to see a dnd game with the characters being a bunch of religious mega church pastors and evangelists in tents basically hahahah!
I played AD&D for years. From 13-18. A bit in my late 20s. What game we actually played depended on who was Hosting. We upgraded to Rifts in 92 and played that until 08'. They game group had dispersed since, marriages and children. I'd probably still be playing if I had a group.
Smart and hilarious. A lot of popular comedy rides on making fun of people outside of a tribe and reinforces division. This is the type of skit where you can be a Christian and/or D&D enthusiast and find this super funny. If SNL did this skit, for instance, I think they would humiliate Christians and RPG players to appeal to an audience that views both groups as outcasts.
