Matthew Lilliard is great! I had the honor of working with him a few weeks ago at Pensacon in Pensacola. He never sits down and he gives each every person who comes to meet him his undivided attention and makes them feel special, we started calling it "The Matthew Lilliard Experience"! I hope one day to meet Chevy Chase, a bucket list item for me.
The feeling you got from meeting Chevy Chase is the exact feeling I get whenever I see you out and about at the theme parks. To meet someone in the flesh who’s work you’ve enjoyed for quite some time is such a surreal experience. He may be Chevy Chase and you’re not, but you’re Adam the Woo. Great video as always.
40 years from now, some grown man or woman will be driving around trying to follow in the footsteps of their childhood idol, Adam the Woo. Hope the Mickey Power Pole on I-4 will still be standing. And Adam, too. 🖖
That’s amazing that you got to meet an icon like that. Christmas Vacation has become a family tradition around our house. Even with the wife rolling her eyes at my excitement when I found it on Blu-ray.
Went to a wedding once and Matthew Lillard was there as a guest. He knew the bride who was marrying my Uncle. My cousin and I had drinks with him, danced, and we preformed our favorite lines from his career, which he then corrected (drunk). It was a BLAST! He's a great guy and totally genuine. HACK THE PLANET!
FYI: Mac Tonight was played in the original commercials by Doug Jones who went on to star in the Hellboy movies, Pan's Labyrinth, and currently stars as Saru on Star Trek: Discovery.
Glad you finally got to meet Chevy! I remember you talking about how you wished you could meet him one day. Mission accomplished! (And I bet you didn't mention your Vacation video to him, but I think he'd be pretty impressed you did all those spots!)
Great Vlog. I think you should either have been sitting down next to Chevy or he should have been standing next to you. Would have been a much better photo
Complete chaos.. But I loved every minute of it! That was awesome you were able to see some of the cast of Scream AND to meet Chevy! I often ask myself, is it worth it to me to meet a celeb. Always a tough question, personally
Great video and we were there on Sunday too! In fact, I saw myself in your video waiting for Chevy Chase. LOL My son was waiting off to the side, sitting in a chair and he said he thought he saw you walk by so he must have been right. Anyway, we pre paid getting Chevy's autograph and that's all we expected but a little bit of "Disney" magic came our way during our meet and greet with him. First off, I make Disney bookmarks and give them to the guests, you tube streamers, cast members and even security when we visit the park which is usually once or twice a week. We are locals now as of 1 1/2 years ago. We gave some to Chevy to remember his visit to Florida. Then my son asked if he could recite some of the of the lines from National's Christmas Vacation and they said "Yes"! They loved it and everyone clapped including Chevy. I was watching him and he was smiling the whole time. So guess what happened??? They asked us if we had a camera and I brought my IPad and got a picture of my son and Chevy together . It was fantastic! So we got an autograph picture and a picture of Chevy with my son. It was the best time!!!!!!
Adam I would have to agree with you. My favorite Chevy Chase movie is hands down Fletch. The vacation trilogy a close second. It’s quite the dilemma meeting those actors expecially as they get up there in age. Expectations are high prior to the moment but are mostly met with disappointment. My personal experience from meeting several dozens of professional baseball players while attending Collector Card Conventions in the early 90’s. I am glad you got to meet him and take a “sic pic” shout out Justin👊
Great vlog Adam the Woo. I am glad we joined you meeting one of your idols, Chevy Chase. I would have loved 2 be there with you meeting him in person. Very exciting. I am a few years older than you. I grew up loving him on SNL & his movies as well. Thank you again. 4, letting us join you on this historic adventure with you, Adam. Have a blessed weekend🙏💕
What a great video. For you to meet one of your all time heroes Chevy Chase it was awesome to share this experience with you. You could tell it meant a ton to you.
How you were with Chevy was how I was with some Doctor Who guests at Pensacon 😂!! It’s just amazing and despite the craziness, you get to make so many memories and it’s so wonderful!!
What an amazing vid Adam! Fletch is one my favorite Chevy films too. What an honor it must be to stand by him! Scream coverage was great too, but what you said at the end about Vacation being why you're into Roadside Attractions and what not...so similar, I know the feeling!! Was a good day 😌 🎉
I totally agree about the Vacation movie sort of shaping me. We never went on family vacations, but seeing that movie made me want to. That's why we take the kids EVERY year to do something. We even call the wife's suv the "family truckster".
Happy you got to meet Chevy. His wife said on David Spade and Dana Carvey's podcast that he had some heart failure a while back and it was effecting his memory and personality a bit. This was after a series of odd responses so she let them know but, he's getting better each day. :)
When Tim started talking about how he wanted to meet the cast of Scream and casually mentioned Chevy was going to be at the event I couldn't believe it. Maybe it's because I was born in 77 and grew up watching his movies, but he would absolutely be my exception too. So freaking cool!
That's a great photo! Autographs are kinda on the back burner for me as well. I like to get a laugh out of someone, especially if they make others laugh for a living. To my chagrin, Bruce Campbell was a fail, though I did walk away with an autograph, a snapshot of mostly ceiling and a sarcastic jibe directed at my new state of the art phone, haha.
That was such a cool video. Love Chevy watched all his movies. So talented so funny. Great picture you got with him. Love seeing so many costumes. They are amazing. Thank you for taking us with you to MegaCon. That was fun!
I love Chevy Chase!!!!!!!! So hilarious!!!!! There will never be any funny actor like him 😢 I love watching all his movies his humor is undoubtedly one of a kind
I was there Saturday for the very first time and I didn't get to see even a tiniest amount of everything they had there lol. There were soooo many people there Saturday haha. It was nuts. I was working at a booth yesterday and got to people watch which was cool. Looking forward to next year and I know what to expect. We have always gone to NY Comicon and now that we live in Florida Megacon was the one we were excited about. Definitely have to go see more of it next year. So many cool things to see there! ❤
My feeling Exactly on why I LOVE travel so much! The Vacation Movies and the expereinces from seeing things some people never get an oppurtunity to see are priceless and so are the memories, Excellent Video as usual Sir! 👍Nailed It!
You meeting chevy was beyond awesome. I share your thoughts on vacation, chevy's work added so much enjoyment to so many people's lives. And your filming location video was incredible...very detailed!
I've watched GIV alot...I found you through him and I absolutely love your channel!!! I'm also an Actor and worked for Eminem in music videos as a Detroit cop and I was a LAPD COP in The Island movie for Michael Bay!! Great work adam!! God bless. Frank
Chevy’s folks should have a chair where you both can sit and have a more relaxed photo. One person standing and one sitting is not ideal but it is still good and I’m really glad you got your chance to see Chevy.
I went to Megacon on Saturday, which was mass insanity. For future reference, the Lynx 350 bus runs to the convention center from the semi-secret Disney Springs transfer station on the other side of Cirque du Soleil. I took the bus without an issue this weekend.
Thank you Adam for this video! I seen my son in your video. He was there yesterday. I always like watching all the Vacations movies. LOL So glad to see Chevy Chase 😊
So glad that you got to meet Chevy Chase Adam! For all the Hard work you put in making that Vacation Filming Location Video I think that was a fitting end ! Great video catch ya out there Meandering Around sir!
Great video. I was at the Scream panel too. The guys were so funny! My daughter is deaf so we were up front where the interpreter is. We were also up there for Rosario Dawson and Shameik Moore-I had never heard of him. He is a black Spider-Man in an antimated movie. . I also went to the panels for John Cleese and Zackary Levi by myself so I was seated further away. Daughters were doing photo ops and autographs. My daughters also went Sat. but I just hung out at the hotel since I’ve been there before on Sat. and it is too packed for me.
I know that signature Chevy Chase look you're talking about. Having him give you that was awesome! I passed Bill Murray once at a hospital. We were both there visiting loved ones in the I.C.U. so it wasn't appropriate to speak or anything, but he saw that I did a double take and recognized him and he ever so quickly gave me the Carl look! ( from Caddyshack )
Hi Adam good you went to mega con in Orlando, meeting Chevy Chase is awesome. I have on DVD the movie Fletch it's the Jane Doe edition, I even have the vacation videos on DVD as well, even the movie caddyshack only on DVD. Huge fan of him. It's good that you look at other things while your there. It looks great stay safe and take care 😎
Love the splash mountain picture and the Chevy Chase meeting that is amazing and we loved the vintage game systems we still have a Colecovision an atari 2600 and NES and an N64, The Scream panel was great I think of the bunch Matt Lillard is my fav loved him in without a paddle and Hackers and SLC Punk, and you can't forget the live action scooby doo movies. Thanks for such a great video today Adam
All part of the experience Russ" haha Rad you got to meet Chevy! Mac Tonight costume was really good...Great Photo too, absolutely love christmas vacation one of my all time favs. I felt the same meeting you buddy, such a honor
Adam , that is awesome that you got to meet Chevy Chase . He is awesome!! Love all his movies . Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us !! Your awesome too 😊
This was epic you got to meet Chevy! Your vacation filming location video is legendary! I'm a big too i stated watching SNL it's first seasin when i was in jr high and all his movies later of course
I didn’t grow up with anything Chevy Chase, but I married into a family of Vacation fanatics so I’ve been morphed into a big fan. I’m bummed I missed out on this con! My wife would’ve been stoked to see all of the Vacation stuff!
It looks like a great day. If you ever want to see the screen used RV it is in Castle Noel in Medina Ohio, a Christmas themed attraction. We do not love tours where you need to go with a guide but this one has to be our favorite ever. I mean how can it not be, we got to see the RV plus we were able to go down the slide from a Christmas Story. This place was worth the trip for anyone who loves cinema.
I think that Sundays is the best time to go to these conventions. You just gotta make sure celebrities you wanna see are there the day you are going. Awesome video. I need Chevy's signature yet!
Glad you met Chevy, Adam. You didn't mention the movies "Modern Problems" and "Nothing But Trouble". I'd recommend those to anyone who hasn't seen them.
It’s wild to think how a goofy comedy could have such a profound influence in your life. I totally get it though. You’re closing comment has me reflecting on all my cinema influences, and I didn’t even really think about it until now!
I'd met Chevy twice at cedar point when I worked there ,he's a very down to earth person😊love fletch and the vacation movies ,don't forget the money pit 😅
Your words on Chevy got me all emotional!! As an 80s baby he’s a comedy icon for me. My favorite movie of his is Funny Farm, Christmas Vacation is a close 2nd and. Nothing But Trouble 3rd. Currently Seeking the Clark to my Ellen 😂
