Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium are not the same place. Wembley Arena (where Megadeth played together with Slayer, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies. Slayer headlined) is the smaller venue which held 10.000 then and it wasn't sold out. Wembley Stadium (where Queen played) held 72.000 and they sold it out 2 nights in a row, they were headliners. Megadeth rules, but Queen was way bigger. Megadeth never played Wembley Stadium.
+Mathu Varatharajah Megadeth were invited to play at Budokan in 1993, however they had to cancel the trip as Dave succumbed to intoxication after years of drug abuse and faced a brush with death, on a tour prior to that.
Perfect performance !!! Mierda este debe ser el mejor Holy Wars que haya visto, aunque el video muestra solo imágenes que se tomaron desde atras la performance que tuvieron fue simplemente excelente!
@Luiscab666 Holy shit! that's right! I got surprised by his sound in the beginning... his tone and machine-gunlike attacks rule so much! Miss him a lot!
He did, in 2004 for System Has Failed sessions. But he was too drugged up apparently and couldn't focus on drumming in tune anymore. Just couldn't cut it anymore in the metal scene at least according to Dave.
@sdusablon Haha, i have a similar story. I saw them about a year ago and two AWESOME things happened to me. I said, "Dave you are the fucking man', and he said, yeah yeah i know! Then James LoMenzo put the end of his Bass on the tip of my nose and started rocking out!
I think both Gar and Menza are great drummers. I prefer Menza though because I always felt his playing fits Mustaines style of guitar playing much better than Gars did. And on another note, Mustaine's high E string is outta tune on this song! Very tight and precise. Gar had a very different feel.
@Airakobra Have you seen him nowadays? He is emaciated by meth. Dude, it is actually sad what has become of him. It actually makes me sad. He is nowhere like he used to be. He sure was amazing when he was in Megadeth though.
hey don't knock it it you weren't there kid! We had style and origionality back then, oh and made amazing music too.. unlike the mess that metal is now
I think Gar>Nick personally, but whateva. Nick Menza will never come back to Megadeth because Dave gave him a chance in 2004 and Nick was too strung up on smack and couldn't perform anymore, apparently it was pretty bad according to Dave.
