What a ride. This album is pure genius. As professional musicians this line up was pure magical. This album you can just put it in and let it go from track 1 until the last track. Today a great album is if a band puts 3 good songs out of 10-12 tracks, nothing like it used to be. New subscriber loved this.

Hey my man! I'm from the Chicago area, 30 mins from the city proper. Where are you out of? Excellent song choice! This is essentially two songs in one, the first half, "Holy Wars" is inspired by an incident in Ireland, where Megadeth was performing at the time, Dave Mustaine made a comment which was misinterpreted as being in support of the IRA, the second half "The Punishment Due" is about The Punisher. Love your channel intro and your energy! New sub!

Dude I always felt the same about that little slowdown. Super heavy, catchy riff. Could have made a whole song out of that part. I love Megadeth and for sure some of their appeal is how much they have going on in every song, but sometimes the simplest thing can be the most effective. You should check out Sepultura. Maybe attitude, or refuse resist, slave new world. Something from the roots/chaos ad era. I think you'd enjoy it.

I still bounce around in the big 4, and still like their first two albums and members the best. *one good thing- If Metallica didn't separate Dave from the band, neither band would sound the same, James Hetfield and Dave Mustaine are both singers, songwriters, and players.
