What makes me sad, is that, when Zero Slashed Omega, I read on the Wikias, that Omega's explosion caught the Three Guardians, and they died... At least... Zero's sacrifice in 4 makes him reunite with them in Cyberspace...
***** Zero's "Soul" continues to live on through Model Z. Although I don't like the ZX series too much, I do enjoy having X and Zero's souls hanging around and powering up people.
Well, it's only implied that the Three died in that explosion. They could have managed to make it out (severely damaged, yes, but still alive) and perhaps just decided to go into hiding to avoid being dragged into Weil's plans again.
I mean, we go to the X games first, which are grittier than the classic series. But yeah, the Zero games have a much more serious plot, and I love that.
That Body was never stated to be weaker. It had way more potential than his Original Body, it just didn't have the real "Auto-Heal" function Zero's Original Body had. Zero's new Copy Body had a variable to it's power, just like X, with all those different forms. His Original Body just had old moves, and a modded Z-Saber (O-Saber) and the O-Buster. While Zero had the Original Z-Saber modded with X-Buster MK17 Technology.
Bro, the x literally becomes an angel in the final battle of the first mega man zero 💀 These character transformations are too ABSURD For a mega man game.
No... Zero's original body is definitely stronger because he has auto-heal and his charged attack is way stronger and he can fire 2 consecutive charged shots just like how Zero does in Megaman X3 and Megaman X5, he can also do the ground punch thing and etc. In Megaman ZX Model O has infinity Overdrive mode this puts into perspective how powerful Zero's original body is. Though he isn't really beyond the league of the power of other Megamans. Other megamans can definitely beat him.
I feel like there could have been such an amazing show made inspired by this series of games. Zero was the coolest of any protagonist for the megaman series
Smug Sneasel well maybe with using some flashbacks and giving some backstory when necessary(which I don't think there'll be cause modt of the people watching will be fans) The Zero series can be turned into a great anime series. The art style of the games is fit for it too.
I loved that the final boss of Megaman Zero 3 wasn't some big construct that didn't even move, it was an actual reploid that ran around and murdered you.
Zero's Maverick self has been gone ever since his fight against Sigma back when Sigma used to be a Maverick Hunter. Dr. Weil created Omega during the Elf Wars, sometime after Mega Man X8, which means Dr. Weil could be related to Dr. Wily in some way, and that he is the one who has been supporting Sigma in the background all this time. I'm speculating, but I could be right, I believe the real reason Omega was created is because Zero failed to be the messiah of destruction Wily/Weil wanted him to become during Mega Man X5.
@@omegazx3273 If Zero were maverick from Mega Man X to Mega Man X8, he would be fighting alongside Sigma. Sigma tried to awaken Zero's inner maverick in Mega Man X5 so that would happen. Remember what he tells Zero in Mega Man X2? "I know your secret! You are destined to follow me!"
That's basically what it is. The original idea was that "Omega" was the original Maverick programming left in Zero's old body. His leftover negative side.
@@LightStreak567 A year late, but partial disagree, Wily was encouraging Zero to finish off Sigma at the end of X6 in Isoc's falling-apart body. Wily wanted superiority, not just destruction; Zero saving the world instead of X would be a gleeful situation for him, and he would've welcomed Zero back with open arms in the Zero series.
Well to admit what made Zero such a powerful hero was that he was incredibly skilled. While X got a ton of upgrades to give him ultimate power, Zero's upgrades were just extensions of himself. So it isn't surprising to me that Omega possessing the body of Zero couldn't cut it.
@@Gundarium_gabe they did just that. Well, before the resistance existed anyway. You remember copy X? That was supposed to be X's new body, but his soul kinda just- went away. Maybe he didn't want the body so he wouldn't have to fight anymore. Eitherway Ciel was left with a body but no soul to inhabit, so she made a new personality on the spot who then became copy X apparently
@@chippy4032 Not true, the Original X "disappeared" or rather seals himself after using the power of the mother elf in order to absorb all of the Maverick virus into himself, his physical body was later killed by Elpizo in order to draw "The power which almost destroyed the world" supposedly X's might combined with the virus and who was then known as "the dark elf" (aka mother elf before she was corrupted) Copy X was physically the perfect clone of X but without X's original painful experiences, he became mad with power and as such a ruthless dictator, it was also the fact that he was created in order to protect humans at any cost, which made him cruel against Reploids is intentions where good, but Reploids had now become much more human-like than anybody could expect. X could not have inhabited Copy X's body in the least, since his body and soul where sealed away at a hidden location during the elf Wars, this is not a fan Theory or something created by the drama CDs, this is fully Canon
@@neromauritzen9083 it is incorrect as X is shown being able to go anywhere with his cyber elf form (witch is basically his soul)it has been said that the strain of sealing the dark elf in his body separated his mind/soul from his body witch means he could just have taken another if he so pleased
I actually personally thought the black head in the middle might represent "Bass" from other Megaman games too (like it's Zero, Bass, & Megaman, from left to right), but maybe not.
I love how the Dr. Wily symbol is stuck in Omega form 2 during the Omega Zero battle. I'm pretty sure it's the last reference to Dr. Wily in this timeline, and it's so cool how they put it into Zero's chamber.
ManjoumeX, check the top left corner at 5:32. Part of it is off screen during that part, so you might want to rewind to the battle to see the whole thing.
I don't know what absolute genius at Capcom thought of a lightsaber robot samurai fight his original body at the site of his hundred-year hibernation for a final battle but they should have gotten a raise.
Basically, the real Zero's body that you're fighting is inhabited by Omega, while the body Zero's in is a duplicate. So it's more or less just the real Zero in a fake body fighting Omega in the original Zero's body.
A little trivia: Omega's second form was partially inspired by Omegamon(Omnimon in the west), and obviously Gundam types. In fact, one can find many Gundam references in Z and ZX series.
jetex1911 This is an old post, but I'm pretty sure king was referring to the fact that Zero got hit so many times in this playthrough that he'd probably be A rank not S because of damage taken.
By the way... Sigma was not able to come back... Because Zero sealed himself away and destroyed all the Sigma>Zero>Maverick (All are same but in power order) viruses... So.... yea.......
Matthew Kwon >____> You do realize sigma isn't a black machine right? (Also yeah X-buster and Z-saber together looks pretty f*cking amazing XD didn't know original Zero could do that! F*CKING EPIC!) Thanks for the comment by the way ;) much apprecited.
Mega manfan A Maverick in the series is a definition of a Reploid who threatens to hurt humanity.Zero is not exactly a reploid nor did he hurt an innocent human.So......no
The source of Zero's maverick memory and virus has finaly been destroyed. A mere copy body of Zero is only as strong as the heart. It's notthe shell ofa reploid, its the soul of one. Which is why I know X and Zero's souls went into the DNA morphers in ZX.
This might be obvious, but I wonder if there are two alternate realities of the Mega Man X universe now? One where Zero went to sleep at the end of MMX6 and woke up a century later, and another where he didn't, and continued to fight alongside X in MMX7, MMX8, and beyond. Or maybe Zero went to sleep after MMX8, and woke up a century later. That would explain why there haven't been any new MMX games in over a decade. Or maybe it doesn't matter either way, because it is what it is...
Alex Palmer megaman 12 should have zero (who is made by dr willy) killing original megamanmegaman x9 idk idgaf about axl megaman zero 5 should have ciel collecting zero's body parts and reviving zero and adventure continues (maybe a zero vs bass, zero vs protoman etc)
That Man Was The Ryback So, you think Mega Man 12 should be the final original MM game that ends with Zero being completed and killing off MM, and MMZ5 should be about Ciel finding Zero and reactivating him. Is that correct? And, what did you mean about MMX9 and Axl? What does idgaf mean? Not criticizing, just wondering what you meant.
That Man Was The Ryback Ah. Thx for clearing that up. I guess the people who make the fangames will decide how long he goes on, at least until an official, final game comes out. As for MMZX, it does feel too disconnected from the MM(X) universe to be part of it IMO.
Alex Palmer Does it? Some of the side characters you talk to you in MMZ are in MMZX and they point out that the lines between human and reploid are getting blurrier and blurrier. I'd assumed that to survive in that screwed up landscape most life actually has modifications and human life isn't fully human anymore. Hell in MMZ you got a reploid that purposely made himself integrate biological parts so he was supposed to die near to the human women he fell in love with. Then no one bats an eyelash as Megaman Trigger having arms that clearly aren't biological or legs that integrate machinery in them.
It took place during the Elf wars, that took place between the X and Zero franchises; never happened in a game, though. X and Zero stopped Omega, and he was banished from Neo Arcadia, as was Dr. Weil (At least I believe that's how it went, off the top of my head). Then, Omega had the same appearance as he did at the beginning of the game, or so I assume.
Beautiful ending but the entire Zero series all depends on a massive plot hole: why the fuck didn't X get a new body? Sure he couldn´t return to his own due to it being the seal of the dark elf but why didn't he body jump like Zero did when his consciousness was put in the fake body? Also, there is the fact that Zero 4 plain forgets about the guardians, and the explanation Capcom did is that the explosion of Omega's body killed them offscreen. Bull-fucking-shit. I mean, the story is engaging and all but these absudities totally kill the mood for me.
Because X was fading from the world, and because there wasn't enough time to make him a new body. Also he was tired of all the fighting and thus entrusted Zero to take care of the rest...Besides Zero's the protagonist here. As for the guardians, I agree with you. They should had been mentioned at least.
It was revealed after the series ended that the Omega Zero's death explosion killed the Gaurdians as they shielded Zero. It bothered me as well but I still love Zero 4. In terms of X getting a new and better body like Zero, you got me there... Maybe for X's body it wouldn't have the same effect, as his original kickass body is what all modern tech in the Zero series is based on, so his new body would by all intensive purposes be weaker.
Well possibly over time there armor might have worn out cause remember omega and zero were deactivated for centuries so with weather doing its thing with erosion and such and d:
So, zero's body maybe a fake, but his heart is the real deal and his memories. Omega was using zero's original body since zero was absent. It make sense now, thank you.
4:47 theres a wreck in the upper left part of the background that is actualy the same W symbol (Dr Willy) that is seen in the background of the battle between X and Zero of Megaman X5
When Weil said he was 'the creator of reploids', he meant as a human, not the literal creator.. Dr. Cain was the creator of all reploids.. neither x nor zero are reploids.
Marcus Bullock but zero is called a reploid who created zero before dr cain was born? dr wily dr weil = dr wily? if dr weil hates zero why didn't he destroy him while he was sleeping? Dr wily would never destroy his masterpiece if weil was wily then he would be mad that zero didn't do what wily originally told him to also dr wily was kind of still alive in the X series (some people say he's serges from x2 and he built sigma his new body in X5, some people say he's also in X6 in someone (i cant remember the name)'s body
X and Zero aren't Reploids. They're more like "MegaMen". Reploids came to life after Dr. Cain discovered X and tried to copy his schematics. Making X the "Father of All Reploids".
Omega was WAY harder in megaman ZX. he could heal himself whenever he wanted, and he would do that constantly. Not to mention, you did about a third of the damage to him there as you do here. Edit: oh, and unlike here. he didnt pause after every attack. You just had to hope.
No, Omega in ZX has pretty much HALF a frame between his attacks. And he hits WAY harder. (If you fight Omega as Aile, you better have the Absorber Chip, otherwise he will stunlock you.)
Weil: Thats your original body. Dont you feel any attachment? Zero: ok and ? Thats literally all there is to prove who the real one is and after hiding himself and repairing himself through the X series its pretty much a Reploid of Theseus scenario at this point
Nionivek Nah, he's evil to the core to the point that he calls himself the devil. He's beyond redemption and traces of him are completely gone by the end of MMZXA. For the Legends series, I don't know how it ended up that way but it takes place thousands of years later
Omega Fight 1st Fight : Still the same as the Previous Boss Fight 2nd Fight = Enhanced by Dark Elf Power, Omega turns into giant Robot monster that atatck with Various Beam. 3rd Fight = Dispose of his Large Armor, Omega in Zero Body use variety of Zero Previous Skill.
Not sure sure that Omega would agree to be under Weil's control any more if he transformed into Zero sooner. He seems infinitely smarter as his true form - maybe he was faking being a big dumb muscle the whole time. Guess that's why a lot of fanfics have him destroying Weil and becoming the Big Bad himself.
So um...what happens to the Mother Elf in the end? She’s no longer the Dark Elf but wouldn’t she still be valuable? Does she just wander the world during the events of Zero 4?
김선랑 Whoops, sorry!! I thought you watched a youtube channel called the quarter guy, which is where I got the reference from, pretty cool channel if I do say so myself!
3:42 so that body I mean his true body was the one who fought sigma when in mega man x4 there is a flashback where sigma found a crazy zero and he almost killed him but suddenly zero got a headache and sigma hurt his front glass? I think that zero has the virus and his good part the one appears in all mega man x saga is in the fake body right?
Omega is just a maverick hijacking Zero’s original body and has nothing to do with the Berserk Zero in X series. One main difference is when Zero is infected with the virus he just strike everything on sight while Omega has consciousness and he is very obedient towards his creator Weil. The Zero Virus that is mentioned in X4 X4 had been entirely fixed due to the invention of cyber elf so Zero was already free from the curse a century ago. It is just unfortunate that people creating cyber elves had different plans and used his original body for even worse purposes.
Correct, and in the game universe, Zero and I still look the same as our X series design, just the artist drew them differently, meaning to the humans in the series we were bulky reploids still.
Funny to believe that the real body of zero couldnt even beat a weaker body of zero the copy body. Zero just said screw you I can kick your butt even with this body. I dont need any power to be strong.
Technically, "Zero" killed the greatest willy creation: Zero's true body. I'm sure Wily doesn't care of the "souls/heart" of Zero, he wanted a god of destruction. Sorry for my english.
MagicCow Es verdad, pero lo impresionante es que X cambió a un ser creado para ser un Dios de la destrucción a uno de buen corazón y además X le demostró ser fuerte en X5 en donde le gana. X es mi personaje favorito por eso y muchos motivos!
I completely agree. But if you like that idea, check out ultimatemaverickx's ZERO VS. OMEGA ZERO DECISIVE BATTLE. It has omega keep reverting to Mega Man X Zero which I think is cool. :)
That i say IN THE ORIGINAL SERIES that means X1 X2 AND X3, i say dr cain dies for old and in the x4 and x5 he never appears, and think In megaman zero 1 and megaman x5 if you relate that two games THAT have sense X have the sword of Zero, X say he fight against mavericks, But now in megaman zero 2 that no have sense Dark elf know the name of Zero, in megaman zero 3 THAT NO HAVE SENSE Omega know zero, the zero body is a copy, X say he and Zero fight against Weil and omega, and more For my X6count
7:42 In ROCKman Zero 3, there's no faceless ciel at all. Just her voice saying "Ze-Ro! Ze-Ro!...." Also in ROCKman Zero 4, in the start, Neige is reading the opening
so basically from a story perspective he never changed his appearance. which i thought was kind of dumb cuz i got all hyped to see zero's x series body but all we got was a slightly redder zero
Crazy how the coding was wrong for Omega Zero's regen move therefore making it be just a random move it would do without any actual affect on the battle.
no, weil was still on the loose, that could be a very unfitted ending, MZ4 imo did very well to end the series, zero speech was as epic as the final boss theme and the final scene in the game
She could revive Zero since she is so smart just like Zero being repaired in X6 and X being repaired in X5. Capcom just wanna end the story lol. But if Ciel make new copy Zero, that wouldn’t be Zero :(.
