They have fixed most of the issues since this video and they have better throttle and brake triggers as well as some more climbing power

The reason they make them kickstart is because in alot of countries, it is not considered a vehicle unless it cans start under its own power.

I just got mine yesterday (Aug 2023) from eBay $219 (forgot to use the $10 coupon, making it $209) 7.8 amp/hr battery. I also bought the additional 3 year warranty from Allstate $16. I did not have any rattling issues at all with that locking tab. I greased the front wheel axle pin a little more before I installed the front wheel and then put the 2 small rubber dust caps back on. So far so good....

I got this for when my daughter comes to visit me. I already got a scooter. I got for about $208 tax included. A very ridiculous low price. No complaints considering it's new and 7.5 battery.

@@gregorybennett5865 Still runs. I am not a heavy user. Just ride it once in a while since I got another one which is more expensive. This one doesn't have shocks or cruise control but runs well which is the most important thing.

For it to actually start you need to reach 2 km/h or 2 mph for it to start and if you want it to take lest time for me i held it down with abit of force, hope this helps!

I have a friend who bought a $600 Segway electric scooter and he still has to kick start it with a pretty good kick. This thing is like half the price so it did pretty good

Hi Jeremiah...Any issues with an E5 Error code? They want me to send it back to them to fix. I did not save the box it came in and it is only 3 months old. The scooter craps out on me after about 1/2 mile.

I have this and my dad put it in the shed eventhough there was no shed key so someone stole it. It is fast and it has three different speeds modes and the problem is that that charging can finish quickly if you drive for lile 3 4 hours continously

3-4 hrs is a lot. My i9 scooter is less than 2months and can't go more than 40mins.

Will a higher watt give her more power to go up steeper sidewalk curbs? I saw how slow it took the one curb you went on that was a higher incline. You (and your son 😊) seem to know a lot about electric scooters. She’s in NY city and I am looking for an affordable electric scooter to get her around.

On level ground it’s not bad but on hills it does struggle. Yes with a higher power motor it will go up hills easier.

The screw threads are in the opposite direction than normal. I thought it was broken til I just turned it in the opposite direction.

It depends which scooter cuz I had the Gotrax XR & it was so slow & the battery was trash it would drop a bar after going 1 mile & i weight like 136lbs. This scooter was way faster for me imo

@@bigpimpricky6977 I have the GXL V2, I am 200 lbs and it is fast as anything. My son is about 130 and goes up and down on a steep hill on our street many times. Battery last for hours as well... I've had it 10 months already no issues. Find someone with a GXL and make a video to compare. The original gotrax is very old now, maybe the one you have now is better, but try the V2.

For $400 this scooter has too many compromises, IMO. I'd rather spend a bit more and get something with more range and less rattles.

It’s only around $300 Pedro and actually right now I believe it’s on sale for around $250 which really isn’t a bad deal because of the size of the battery and range if you were using it for a city commuter with no hills.
