Launching from Sorrento Boat Ramp, we head out for some fresh Squid baits. Once we bag a few we head straight out into Port Phillip Heads AKA "THE RIP" in search of the almighty Melbourne Yellow Tail Kingfish.

Hey mate! Would you have any advice about the rip and how to navigate it for a novice fisherman, would be awesome to get some info on what to watch for, would inside the heads be a good place to start do you use burley and what type of gear would the absolute minimum be 😃

After the seal got the fish, not only it took our fish, but also my sinker! It shook its head and forced the sinker to snap off and fly 100m in the air. Haha

@@JamesFishingAdventures Haha. Awsome!! Yeh it gets addictive. We were there during the week on Wednesday. The boys took off work because it would have been hectic out there on weekends. Anyway, we dropped a few fish and was lucky to manage to get 1. On a dead squid head. Check it out:
