The C2 tram looks like the ones in Mulhouse very interesting that they didn’t get the front from the other Citadis since Alstom made a unique front for almost all City’s.
This sounds dumb but I hope Z class trams are converted into a V/line train for use on tiny routes like Maryborough to Inglewood or something like that.
@@burntoutelectronics The Bs should last a bit longer, being air-conditioned and higher capacity, but still not wheelchair accessible so they'll have to go eventually. I reckon they'll be around for a few years yet though.
@@Taitset Good to know. It's really the wheelchair access that's killing off those trams more than anything I'd think. If I had too much land and money I'd totally set up some A class trams lol
Virtually nothing visually - apparently they have a different braking system. Also the A2's were the first cars delivered with pantographs, and most of the A1's have the remaining trolley pole base at the non pantograph end. I actually thought that was the case with all A1's, but just to prove me wrong A1.241 in this video doesn't have one!
@@Taitset oh ok thanks for the information and hopefully they can get the new high capacity trams when the metro tunnel opens because the z and A’s really need to GO! 😂
