Melechesh is a great band.

Once the song really kicked in after the first couple seconds, it was just instant and involuntary headbanging. Love it.

The riffage! The glorious riffage! Instant download. That was almost as cool as a Motorhead pint glass.

I got the previous album in 2010 purely on the basis of them being Middle Eastern tinged metal and the intrique got me. Wasn't disappointed but for whatever reason never got any more of their stuff. Proper enjoyed this one though, do love that sort of driving riff and it is now very much stuck in my head

Yes, this band's sound could be characterized as "abrasive" like a sand of desert )

Found these chaps this year during a Nuclear Blast livestream or so - cracking song, eh! There's a good fancam of it with MT from The Spirit on the other guitar \m/

I haven't heard anything from them since 2003s Sphynx. It's obviously time I gave them another look.

That riffing is very nice agressive and tight. Nasty atmosphere. Shame on me that I didn't know them at all. Half Dutch? I'm really ashamed. The only thing I missed was a sharp sounding solo. But than again a nice prominent role for the drummer. Gonna go to listen more from them immediatly. Can I say 'shout out' to Guy Simple?

They're from Israel but they left the country for religious struggles with the israeli authorities

Not the best track choice to my personal taste. But still hope you enjoyed that ;) Great band.
