I am become autism, destroyer of simple google search to find it beforehand and I have no idea how I got "false" to begin with. I'm sorry Dad, please don't hit me again. Meme tanks may return, I've been having trouble coming up with vehicles to cover as my only rules are no one off prototypes and that they have a funny quirk or just something humorous (not necessarily that it's a bad vehicle, just that it has interesting traits- hence the M3 in episode 2) and as most countries don't bother to produce tanks with large meme tank like flaws it's hard to think of too many examples. In the past bent the rules somewhat including the O-I, so who knows. Lemme know if I'm missing any obvious ones as this is a fun series to make and I want to do a ww1 episode one day.

Ersatz, in my understanding as German as my SECOND language would closer resemble how Americans use the word Faux from the French. It's not quite a replacement not quite false. We just never really made the word ourselves instead stealing an existing word, as Americans do. Example. Faux Fur or Faux Leather. Edit: Also the word "Imitation" comes to mind.
