@@lawrencemalone-px6qe The problem is that memento has one very hard bottleneck in the horse which can be both ash'd and imperm'd plus whatever disruption they have if you go second. CC is also very vulnerable without elf and that's a loss of up to 5 negates right there. It's a solid rogue deck that has potential to be tier2/3 after we get the support down the line.
@@diiizle most decks have a strong choke point. You stop 1 fusion from tear and they most likely have no follow up without a god hand same with memento or snake eyes. You ash 1 snake eyes card when they have 1 combo piece in their hand it’s GGz. Ash branded fusion it’s pretty much GGs. Ash big welcome Lab and it’s GGz. If you hit the best combo piece in just about any meta deck it’s GGz.
With fracture dance, since the first card is destroyed before you optional destroy another card, you can dodge protection effects. For example in the TCG, you can pop the Tenpai field spell and then you are able to destroy their fire dragons since the field spell is no longer on the field( the field spell makes fire dragons unaffected by activated effects during the main phase 1) by the time the second pop happens. If the first pop doesn’t go through,because of the “then” text, the second pop won’t happen so that’s something to be careful about.

Ik its a small detail but hearing dkayed talking about none yugioh stuff and about himself and Gia and unrelated stuff every now and then is really entertaining as well, knowing a bit more of him as a person
i loved dkayed showing us the salad video. he sounded like an excited kid showing his mom “look look look! if you have weasel it plays around nib i swear here watch this video i SWEAR LOOK YEAH RIGHT HERE!!!”
These are quickly becoming my favorite videos. It's awesome to see someone play a deck well, and then it gives the rest of us a better idea if we like what we see and want to build the deck. Hearing your thoughts for each play is great insight as well!
I love these, I hope you keep doing them Regular deck profiles are one thing, but these types of videos make the deck easier to learn since they go over how you deal with interruption and stuff in actual games, or how some of the interruptions work in practice

Even though I know the combos I enjoy his takes and how he goes into optimal plays, counters, ways to play around things and other routes you can take and above all else watching Dkayed's game play. Can't wait for the day when Dkayed uploads one of these for voiceless voice I cannot wait for this deck in md this deck cannot come soon enough. Wuthering waves is looking good imo they're doing a phenomenal job so far and story is a bit slow but really picks up later on I'm enjoying it
Dkayed you should do test hands vs the Gladiator beast final stage, it consistently summon zodiac driadent or battle phase boss monsters. It actually makes plays most often if you don't flood gate it
Just play Visas or Revolution Synchron to get around the Imperm or Ash. Thats basically what those cards are for. Might aswell say "if your opponent hand trap negates your normal this is your out"
I know that probably No One is asking for this deck, but I would Love to see you play Fluffal. Only heard it’s a underrated deck, but don’t see any data or plays anymore. Is the meta just not good for the deck?
Yeah wuthering waves on off side is fine. But seriously though, memento is such a cool deck if it pops off. Deck with a ton of starters but sheesh the choke point with getting ashed on horse or fusion can hurt.
Memento is chad, thing is it's very vulnerable to hand traps. One good hand trap can fvck your turn also ttt will screw you really bad. I'm sticking to my Dinos much versatile.
