I was honored to be allowed to serve in the United States Marine Corps and honor them and my brothers who paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives to defend our country. I remember them every day i have been allowed to live since they gave theirs.

Lost my dad February 2021. Hadn't seen him in a year because of this covid horseshit. But was able to have a piper play this and the caissons go rolling at his funeral. He was a Vietnam veteran and was buried with full military honors.

This reminds me of my father. It be 25 years in May that he passed. He served in the South Pacific. He would have been 100 this Christmas. I lost it when they played this at cemetery. I will be 70 in April. We fished quite a bit. I have not been fishing in 20 years. Just not the same.

I have a grandfather that was an F4 Phantom II pilot that flew under the command of the legendary Colonel Robin Olds. He flew with the 8th Tactical Fighter Wing out of Ubon, Thailand. He recently passed away and this song was played at his funeral. He was my biggest inspiration to pursue aviation and still is. He watched me fly solo for the first time and died shortly after that. I know everytime i go up, hes right there in the plane with me, keeping me safe. Grandpa, i know your watching over me and over all of the family, guide me to reach my goals and I wont let you down! Guide me safely as I fly through the skies and dont let me give up!

My grandfather served in the Pacific Theater as a sailor. My other grandfather was stationed in Pearl Harbor. My great uncle was shot down and killed in the Pacific. My uncle served in the Korean War on the U.S.S. Benner and my other uncle served in Vietnam. My grandfather on the other side of my family was the commander of a Sherman Tank in Europe. I'll never forget what all of you did for our nation and I pray that you can rest peacefully with God our father. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

My father was a WWII veteran he survived the Battle of the Bulge and was missing in action twice but he made it home my grandmother and grandfather got that knock on the front door twice saying he was missing he's been gone thirty years now and there ain't a day that don't think about him God bless all the soldiers and everyone who served

My kids and I truly blessed, my husband came home after each mission, he's a retired USNavy pilot, now we have 2 grandson's in the Marine's and a granddaughter in law in the Marine's, Our middle grandson is in Frankfurt, Germany and for now our oldest grandson and his wife are stateside. I very seldom say thank you for your service, I say thank you for sacrificing everything for me and my family, because that's what they do to keep all of us safe.

Bagpipe tributes always gets me choked up. It's one of the most touching things you could ever hear and feel. It's a feeling full of mixed emotions from being sad to happy and it's the most honorable tribute song that could be played for an unfortunate event or for someone's death. RIP to every single person who fought in war for what they believed was the right thing to do.

To all who died,who served and who are serving. I thank you for fighting for freedom,God and country. You are all special and deserve to be blessed. freedome aint free it has a price since WWI and those heroes served a natoin of freedome and some came home alive those who died in combat are the true heroes as said: "The true heroes are the ones who never made it home" i have known that since my grandpa died in 2018 on july 9 days affter my birthday and i loved him

We must never lose sight of the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf. Memorial Day must be observed for the day of reverence it is. I attend the military service every year at The Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Wakeeney, Ks. where my parents are buried. It's always a moving service. God bless every veteran. We owe them everything. 💙

My Dad wanted AmazingGrace with bagpipes when he was to die. It was hard finding someone who could but it was done. He played all the way to where the jurst was, which was a little. Everytime I hear the song with bagpipes it takes meback to that day, and brings tears to my eyes. God bless those who have fought for our country and their families.

Although I never served in the US military, this video makes me tear up so much and admire the soldiers we've lost while they did their duty in our brightest and darkest days. It also makes me think of my whole family in India as my paternal grandma is really unconscious from a stroke since Nov. 2022, which makes it more appalling. Despite this, I travelled to see her in December that year and after a month, I returned back to the US this weekend. I am hoping that she gets better soon and may God bless her.
