I had a blood test last year, everything came back good except I was low on B vitamins. So I've simply gone back to what I did when i was in school - have two slices of vegemite on hot buttered toast for brekkie, problem solved! from wiki: "Vegemite is one of the richest sources of B vitamins, specifically thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and folate (B1, B2, B3 and B9, respectively)."
Pauses are fine Mike - most people don't like reactors who talk over the clip and then miss nuances in the lyrics or a banger instrumental solo. Stopping and commenting is great because often waiting till the end you can lose that thought train you were on at a particular point. However you want to make your stuff is cool - I appreciate your honest appraisal and thoughtfulness when listening to new music. ♥
From what I’ve seen of other reactors, if you choose an official music video you need to use a filter to blur it and/or pause often. Live shows don’t seem to be as bad. I personally like reactors pausing and giving their opinion, I know not everyone likes that style but it’s kind of the reason you watch reactors so a few pauses doesn’t bother me at all! Love that you’re loving Vegemite !! X
I really enjoy his reactions because he's not pausing so much. He's allowed to do it whenever but "not wasting anybody's time" is a very nobel cause and I love his attitude.
You should play the Delta Goodrem version. It's less quirky and more haunting. Thanks for illuminating Aussie music . Is there anything from Australia that you would like. Keep up the great reactions.
It's actually ironic discussing copyright matters on a video reviewing this song because the band was sued for plagiarising the flute bit. They had to pay years of retrospective royalties to a greedy studio.. Pretty sad really and not in good Aussie spirit which is what that song tries to promote!
What’s not to love about vegemite. Most Aussies associate this song with Australia winning the 1983 America’s Cup Yacht race. First country to beat America in 162 years. “Down Under” was our team’s theme song. I remember they played it as the Aussie’s sailed over the finish line.
and that bigass kangaroo parading down the street. and then Prime Minister Bob Hawke declaring "any boss who sacks somebody for not turning up to work tomorrow is a bum"
So, you love Vegmite on toast. Fabulous isn't it, so here is a suggestion...... One absolutely heaped teaspoon of Vegemite into a coffee mug, pour boiling water over and stir vigerously until the Vegemite melts. It is just a great drink whilst still hot.
It was the song the Australian team used when Australia won the America's Cup - off America. A moment in time never to be forgotten if you were a Aussie
The flute riff that he plays while sitting on the tree branch got them sued for copyright infringement. Allegedly copied from a well known Aussie kids song “Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree”. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2Mfve0oxbPA.html
