Thank you. I didn't like Mother! for the same first reason. The meaning was better but the story was so loose my brain couldn't stop following the metaphorical rabbit.
The thing that bugged me the most about this movie, was the fact Alex said he was inspired by watching Attack on Titan at the time, and said it motivated him to be more creative.
