That shot was true from the kids finger tips, man and it always goes in, what a shot what a moment in sports history, if you remember, Carolina had just tied up the score on a crazy, double pump three point shot that was incredible, then this dagger by Jenkins, also if you can remember, when Kris let that shot go, Jay started heading towards the Carolina bench like he expected that shot to go in. Great game, great moment.

That shot was for Howard Porter (1971 MOP for the Tournament ) - Nova should have beat UCLA , but the refs wouldnt allow Wooden and the Bruins to lose. Many bad calls against Nova that day

I'm a Nova grad and season ticket holder and we went down to Houston for the FF that year. We were in section 119 at NRG and it honestly didn't "hit us" that we won until the perfectly timed fireworks and streamers came raining down. It was so hard to see whether Jenkins' shot fell in time before the clock expired! haha... awesome time that we'll remember forever.

1:10 is the best part of this video. Everyone at The Pavilion putting their arms up simultaneously in anticipation. So cool! Every basketball fan or player knows those 2 seconds. Time stands still in desperate anticipation from when that player leaves the ground to when the shot falls or not. I'm indifferent to Nova, but this is awesome.
