Thanks Rosemary and Connie, It's funny how I was at my worst at the same time as you Rosemary. I was very ill and it took seeing three doctors to get an answer. I'm severely anemic and my thyroid is not working well. I'm still not feeling to good and listening to you guys and Sally has helped.
i love that you two are sharing this with us. I have been perimenopausal for a little while and all I can say I am so ready to just be done with it..even if it means I have to go thru all that not so comfortable stuff (like dryness)... i figure i'll just invest in ky jelly! lol! glad you are doing videos again, my sweet friend! love ya both!
Wow Rosemary, thanks for talking about this topic. It was very interesting. My mom is suffering from menopause at the moment. Her hot flashes are the worst. Its so bad that I could not bare to go to her house because she has the AC on blast plus the fan running at the same time. My dad does not even sleep in the room anymore because its just too cold for him as well. I have to ask her about anxiety. Just love the video all-together since I dont know anything about it.
I remember when my mom went through menopause and everything you are saying is what she said. She wanted to scream, everything irritated her, and so on. You're definitely not crazy!! Tell Blue Eyes to hang in there and not take anything you say or do personally right now! :) Hope those meds kick in soon!!
im 42 and havent experienced any symptoms yet but i will one day so i appreciate all this info ...ty both for sharing my friends...love ya both and god bless
Thank you both for doing this video. I am 41 and so far so good. But I am not looking forward to menopause at all. I am bipolar and a lot of what you are saying, with the exception of hot flashes are symptoms of bipolar. Depression, anxiety and irritability. I take tons of meds to control it now, but in the future I am going to have to figure out what is causing the symptoms, the bipolar or the menopause. Tell Blue eyes to hang in there. Once the hormones kick in you will start feeling better!
Also you and Connie should download OoVoo so that we can see you and Connie side by side talking to each other. That would be really cool. Janie & Sally recently did it.
I need to learn a ton more on this topic! Most of my issues are hormonal. I have had a hysterectomy but still have my ovaries & cervex. I hope u r feeling better soon my dear friend!!! XOXOXO
I had those heart palpation in the middle of the night, I had night sweats, waking up soaked..but I did not have the mood swings-every woman experience is different. For me-1 year, and it was gone, I did have a hysterectomy at 40, still have 2 ovaries, my doc did give me xanax to take at night, but no hormones, it was over within 1 year-I am 54 now, it happen when I was 52.-now, I am not on any meds-I just have to stay low carb-which is good for me not to raise my sugar-hang in there.
OK ROSEMARY, MEN MAKE US MAD WHEN WE GO THRU IT, JUST LOOK AT THE NAME THE FIRST 3 LETTERS OF THE WORD, IS MEN!! OPAUSE, IT GETS MUCH BETTER AND I REALLY NEVER HAD ANY SYMPTOMS EXCEPT SWEATING LIKE A HOG DAY AND NIGHT, AND HAD LITTLE PATIENCE WITH MY HUSBAND AND CHILDREN, BUT THAT WAS NOT BAD FOR ME, I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GOING THRU MENOPAUSE, AND I NEVER TOOK ANYTHING FOR IT, IT JUST GOES AWAY LOVE, LORETTE
Ive have been pre menopausal since i had my last child when i was 29, periods irregular and my body wouldnt produce progesterone ,, so i had to take pills to have a period, i would go months,, it caused irritability and serious mood swings!
