Clean EGR tubes, ALDA tube, change filters after Purge, and ip tuning after valve lash will give you the power your looking for, find the right shift padderns to help, this ADL adjustments should only be an attitude ajust for sealevels

I’ve done everything except ip timing. That’s the next thing on my list.

Open up ALDL all the way, then go one full turn inn⛄⛄, ip timing for more power is lube the rail with grease and time directly at 25' btdc

Egr is for exhaust gas recirculation during cold warm up only and cloggs the intake if not removed ruins your turbo dumbass my ass also a real master diesel mechanic here , say something smartass?

1st... I may get a '91 350SDL in trade for all the work I'm doing on the RusTundra. 160k, no rust, never winter driven I think

Doing an ALDA boost system service on my 300SD for the same reason: 0-30mph is SOOOOO slow it could cause a serious accident.

I removed mine completely. No black smoke. Way faster

If it ever fails I’ll remove it but for now it’s working great.

Be very careful. You could destroy the engine.

@@closer71 it wont damage the engine. Ive removed more then 10 of them and every single one runs better and still run to this day
