For everyone who wants to buy a light up start make sure you read the fitment details on the site you buy it from because different models have different size stars. For instance the one I bought for my 09 c350 will only fit c class,b class,and glk.
Hey I’m looking to purchase a LED logo star for my front grill on a 2018 mercedes E400. Dealership wants to charge me $500 for the star not including labor. But just having a hard time finding a good one online. Do you know where I can go to get one that will work and last for some years?

does it matter which of the 20a headlights i tap into? good idea on a "tap a fuse " product very affordable and practical. (interestingly, the paper sheet that tells you what is on which fuse does not accurately represent where the headlights are)
@@moonmc1047 Yep, I know that works but I just didn't want to splice the headlight wire. I was thinking what would happened if one day I had to replace the star.
@@RoadeoCowboy Thanks, I did check on web, its says two 7.5 amps fuse is for headlights, but you are saying 20 amps fuse are for head lights, is this correct.
@@RoadeoCowboy In my 2016 GLE 350, there is two 20amps fuses, i have pulled both of them, one at a time but head lights still remain on, any idea where can I find fuse diagram.
@@BhupendraKumar-kb6vh sure thing if you look under the passenger side rear seat you'll find another fuse box. There should be a fuse guide ther depending on if you bought your GLE used or not.
Also highly recommend installing all the proper wiring and modules. All these "rigged" lighted stars are a joke. Why wouldn't you want FULL correct functionality?
I just had my installed at the dealership yesterday. I love it. Was not that expensive. The part was $500 and then you had to pay for labor so about $400 You have no control when it comes on in my 53 AMG GLE coupe. Once the lights come on at night so does the star.
