hello my friend i got a question About the IM608 for tcu replacement if the original tcu is broken and i got a donor tcu (same part number) it's a used tcu --> then it's already programmed. so if only do adaptations it will work just fine ? 1. i get the donor tcu and do tcu renew with im608 2. i write vin number 3. i attach it back to the car 4. i do teach-in of drive authorization system and teach-in of selection range sensor and i am good to go ?

No we only did cloning but if you want you can return it back to factory settings with no info in it and than you would have to program it with the xentry
i have a brand new tcu from the dealer, do i have to do anything different? i have read data from the old TCU, written it to the new one, everything is activated and personalized, but i only have errors and no gears are displayed.
At this point everything is getting hard with SCN coding. MB shut down their servers to most after market tools. XENTRY is the way to go. For programming and coding used immo parts, there are few after market tools such as Autel, launch, cgdi, vvdi. The best tool for after market would be I believe Abrities.

@@huyug1 also just curious. Why not put power to the Gbox2 12 volt DC adaptor. And just use the Gbox for power instead of having to use the jump box? Is this not an option? I wondered Ideally then you could just have to run gboxs 12 volt cables from the wire harness to both the obd2 connector then to the tcm as it wants.

I did the diagnostic on the car and got this results: There are 3 issues for Power system: 1.The Internal Electrical Check Of Component Y3/83 (K2 Clutch Control Solenoid valve (VGS)) Has Failed. 2.Fault present in control module Transmission (P2734) 3.Diagnosis of tumble flap 'Intake manifold': Short circuit to ground of sensor lines/Tumble flap shafts stick in the actuated position. (P2004). Can you advise me cause I'm trying to minimize my expenses fixing the car. Please need your expertise on how to fixe all 3 issues for power systems found on the car. Do you think I should remove the transmission plate and try to reprogram it ? Thank you very much,

There could be ton of reasons to change it just like any other module in the vehicle they might just give up. The one I was working on had erratic gear changes.

It never happened to me so far. You need to compare the hex file that you have read from original and the file in new one and see if they are same. If not you can try one more time.
Ahh ok. Reason I ask is I have a bad ECU on my 04 E55 AMG. I’m looking to purchase a donor used ECU and clone my original ECU. If I do, so, would I need to do anything else or would my car be good to go?

@@Man-Up-G me2.8 is a Bosch Engine control module not a transmission. This video is for transmission. I’m not sure if Autel supports renewing me2.8 types. But I think it should be able to renew it. Better to check on Autel.
