Mercedes Vito van review | Is it a good van? 

Hi Mark. I own a Vito van. Its the first version of the latest design, so about 9 years old now. Its a great all rounder (lot better quality and durability than the Peugeot Expert i had). I drive it all over the country for business, but its great for leisure. It made its annual pilgrimage down to Le Mans this year, with all camping gear and bikes inside. On a normal run I get about 45 mpg but if I'm careful it will go up to 50 mpg. Manual gearbox and base 2 litre engine.

Had one of these for rental a few weeks ago. Hated the handbrake down by the rest of the pedals

Have they solved the rust on previous versions.

These things had a reputation for being rattly ...apart from the engine.😁
