Hello ...my loop is also in problem and I fix it easy....find some longer 4mm bolt which will go aout from the vent so you be able to push in those screw or push up without broken will and your loop will be able to opet or close again !

@Diesel Mercedes, How to remove the center air condition vents, if the car doesn't have any glove box.???

Any idea what the vacuum line behind the center vent do? Does it open or close center vent? Does it have anything to do with the recirculation button on the dash?

Is it the same as 190e ?

Hey there.. from my center vent it blows only cold wind but the side-vents still blow cold/hot air depends how I adjust it down below..It worked before, problem occur all of sudden.. what will be the solution please ? I have w124 200D

would like to see how to access the bulb for the temperature wheel in the console. I figure there's a backlight, but mine's never worked. Any ideas? :)
