Merciless Storm is NUTS on Doctor! | Dead by Daylight 

It's said in order to get into character before playing the doctor, the voice actor played on Haddonfield one time to drive himself insane

Merciless Storm + Huntress Lullaby is my brothers build on Ghostface. He likes it because it makes survivors focus on Skill checks rather then looking for the Ghostface.

Otz, you literally had the chance to say: "Hello friends, this is Otz, according to your local doctor" yet you didn't

This is the build to actually make skillchecks a SKILL check lol

Distressing could be switched with overcharge if you have the two "calm" addons that make your terror radius bigger when static blast is ready

When I first saw this perk, I remembered that I went against a doctor with a yellow glyph challenge and it was pain, and it made me realize how well this perk can be used on doctor Edit: Holy crap guys thank you all so much for the likes! And thank you Otz for the heart!

This is incredible, with Freddy’s addons if they miss the merciless storm skillcheck could they lose progress? Stacked with huntress lullaby it could get nasty.

This video shows my least favourite aspect of the new haddonfield: the hooks are so damn hard to see. With no line of sight blockers in the main area it's rare to get an aura reading on a hook there, and the whole map is so murky that hooks easily blend in with shadows and trees and are practically impossible to see. I like to keep the look of the game pure and not mess with brightness settings because I do feel it's a bit of a grey area in terms of cheating (since you need an external program to change them), but if I keep playing killer on this godforsaken map I may just have to.

It totally works well with stealthier killers, as when the survivors are SUPER focused on hitting those skill checks you can come up behind them while undetectable and grab 'em.

As a doc main myself I really felt the part where Otz is asking how they did the interaction while shocked, have at least one thing like that per game happen, usually with a window where they scream like almost a full second before and still get the vault, feels bad man.

I remember Demi doing the same thing, only with Overcharge instead of Distressing and add-ons to increase terror radius. Really evil build!

Seeing this perk makes me think of a build on doc with Dead Man's Switch, Deadlock, Unnerving Presence, and Merciless Storm with both add-ons that increase your terror radius when you have static blast. Merciless Storm stops survivors just before a gen gets done, deadlock stops any close gen from getting done, and dead man's will instantly force people off the gen if you static blast them off the gen.

If you added overcharge, then this build would be the embodiment of evilness.

Yeah the Feng was definitely suspicious. During the 2.5 seconds of Carter's Spark stunning you, you're prevented from doing anything beaides running or touching exit gates. Feng somehow was able to still use her flashlight, and additionally, she hit a blind on Otz while Doc's face was buried in the wall with none of it facing her or the house.

I literally looked this up yesterday, otz I swear you can see into the future. Keep up the great work and be safe.

Main Doctor and this is one of the first builds on him I tried when Sadako dropped lol. Super fun until the meta survivors you got come in-- just pain. Paaaaaaain.

We live in a society where ds and dead hard got reduced to perks and are just a part of the survivor passively, and they have 2 perk slots to spare

After Sadako's PTB release, this was the first build I tried on doctor as soon as I saw how Merciless Storm worked. Back then, none of these modifiers such as Unnerving Presence affected Merciless storm (including Madness) and I was hella dissapointed. Did they tweak it in a recent patch?

The feng seemed suspicious, but I'm gonna be generous and say the shock barely hit, so it didn't connect immediately on her screen due to latency, and for some reason that might've cancled the effect of not being able to use her flashlight.

Been playing this game for just over a year and watching you made me want to try killer, currently maining huntress and having a lot of success with her and now I’m farming the double blood points to get other killers teachables

I have used a doc build recently thats devour hope, NOED, fire up, and thrill of the hunt, you might be able to replace TOTH with undying or something, but its really strong, if they get the devour, you still have noed left at the end to crutch up, and the info on the totems as well as break time extension is really helpful in my games, it would be cool if you want to test it or try it out and see how it goes

That Laurie was either a fucking genius or super lucky. She didn't use deadhard the first two times she went down and In fact, she did the bait dead hard thing by running into the killer, then she uses it right before she's going to get killed. That was nuts lol. That whole game was insane.

This build is more effective on small map Like Institute or school because you really need static blast and unnerving presence,but every time you use static blast your terror radius get reduce a lot make unnerving presence became less effective

Saw Demi's video on this and it really is a lot of fun. Can't seem to get distressing in my webs yet so I am just prestiging until III 50. I want to use distressing with some other perks too like Coulrophobia and other terror radius perks. Huntress Lullaby is just the cherry on top and it's very hard for survivors to micro that if they don't have builds for totem finding. I really get a kick out of seeing their silly madness 3 run, and hiding in corners trying to snap out of it. Also, you can cheese distressing with some of his addons that make the terror radius bigger when static charged is full, along with the iridescent add-ons to spread the shock therapy charges. Sloppy butcher and blood echo could make countering deadhard easier along with healing slowdowns and constant skillcheck hell. Fuck I love the doctor lol. Here I am, a rando, giving tips to Otz

He was the first killer I thought of when I saw that perk during PTB of Sadako. Surprised it took this long to make a video since I've been running it for a while. Unsure if it's really optimal, but it's kinda fun tormenting survivors with it! 😁

That first game was really exciting, Otz. The constant uncertainty whether they disconnected or not was extremely thrilling. It was so nerve wracking that the whole match felt like 12 seconds.

Item use is perfectly doable after a shock. It's only pallets and vaults that are blocked before Tier 3. Only in Tier 3 is item use prevented.

The ultimate conundrum. Do you buy a killer for their perks, even though you know you won’t enjoy or play them. Or do you wait for however long it takes for the perks to appear in the shrine.

I loved playing Doctor, but stopped because I felt like I couldn’t get a good perk setup for him and players were prepared for most of the time. This makes it look fun again

I think Call of Brine might have been a better choice over Huntress' Lullaby. Would be interesting to have you play this build again with that perk replacing Lullaby

Doc Main here (give or take a few hundred hours) I’m definitely going to give this a shot, I didn’t know that Merciless stacked on Doc’s madness with the skillcheck. Secondary Suggestion, I like running Iron Maiden on Doc, as people tend to hop in a locker to avoid the Big Shock. They pop out, get exposed, and you see their location. I would suggest adding a regression perk though? If you’re running Merciless, Pain Res could be nuts on this, even Ruin or deadlock as well. Good God… Doc with Merciless Storm, Pain Resonance, Ruin and Deadlock.

Otz's perk loadout is perfect for this challenge. But don't forget both of the strongest "Calm" addons for that extra 14 meter terror radius.

Would this be good with ruin? Since it’s better at the start when they don’t expect it theres less a chance of it being cleansed before merciless storm activates, and you could potentially block the gen, chase them off and not have to go back and kick it

The much more entertaining thing about this build is that it apparently just flat broke Otz's brain, between the hook blindness and the item/shock interaction.

i once went against this perk on doc and it was super fun. i've always loved the yellow glyphs so i was excited for this perk. i like that madness keeps you on your toes with going backwards and forwards all the time. well, my doc didn't have smaller skillcheck areas tho 😂 and when did doc skillchecks start jumping around the screen anyway? don't feel like that was a thing before

Demi tried this build but with Overcharge instead of Distressing (which he used add-on to simulate). It worked ten times better. And basically it worked like a Ruin where he would Overcharge a gen, Survivors would fuck up, he would Overcharge again, etc... and basically the combo Lullaby + Overcharge repetitively would just bring some 90% gens back to 0%. And Merciless would tell him which gens to target.

Seeing OTZ tunnel and camp makes me feel better xD

I have a theory that Thanatophobia would be a better pairing with Merciless Storm because with a few thana stacks, survivors will spend that much longer in the skill check phase of Merciless, plus it can't be cleansed like Huntress Lullaby.

my personal build for Doctor is Pop, CoB, overcharge, and pain resonance

Putting on a Calm add-on for max terror radius and I think it's Order for static blast recharge would make this even meaner.

I believe i was one of the first people to do a build like this, I also added overcharge, which is RIDICULOUS with unnerving presence. So fun!

Every time I see one of your videos 1) I kinda want to play 2) I see dead hards and meta perks and suddenly 3) I refuse to play Man, I hate meta perks

The "calm" add-ons are also good for terror radius.
