And honestly, playing with perks like these isn't even possible in Comp. Comp typically has rules like "only 1/2 of a perk per team", and each team member has to be a unique one. There are lots of little advantages SWFs have that can bridge the gap between the immense skill comp players have.

Only the Zarinas had the same cosmetics, the Claudettes were very different. I've done that with randoms (like I see someone with a specific and I'm "WAIT I HAVE THE SAME" and do it) and it's actually a veeeery bad strat because even if the killer doesn't want to tunnel, they can't tell who is who and might tunnel without knowing about it. A few times I've had killers say at the end "Sorry for the tunnel on X, I couldn't tell you apart at all" hahaha But it's part of the fun of doing that :P

Don't get me wrong, comp players sure know how to play, but DbD's comp scene, if you even want to call it that, isn't really one that oozes skill. That goes for every comp player, as skillful as they might be in their private games. Comp DbD is just dropping every pallet early and rushing gens. Nothing wrong with that, it's the most efficient one can play this game, but it's boring as shit and doesn't exactly scream big brain or skill, like I said. Each member being a unique survivor and only one DS, DH, Unbreakable isn't as much as a difficulty as you make it sound. One Unbreakable is enough to pick everyone up. You only need the reset and that's it. Pair that with communication between players, excluding the killer, boom: easy game. Same reason comp killers camp with noed. Because it is efficient. But I wouldn't call it skillful or entertaining.

@@PichDextro The idea that comp survivors all play like that is actually a myth perpetuated by Scott Jund. I like his videos as much as the next guy, but the idea that comp survivors play like that is based on early DbD tournaments. It also doesn't make sense as against most killers this isn't a good strategy, it will literally just get you killed, or you will fuck your whole team. Nemesis, Huntress, Nurse, Blight, Pyramid Head (if they predict it) and Demo are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. If you watch any comp game now, you will see that survivors do not pre-drop pallets as you say. Some things you can see in tournaments that not many DbD players can do: 1. Successfully outplaying the killer at T&L walls until the window blocks 2. Using exhaustion perks to get into position to protect a team mate 3. Getting use out of unsafe pallets by stunning the killer in a place most players would just drop and then die to a mind game 4. Utilising unique perk combinations such as Lithe + Dance With Me to waste the killer's time (hello high MMR with 3 DS, DH, Iron Will : ) ) I recommend watching literally any DbD tournament that was done in the last year, or even find someone who plays a killer one would consider "unconventional" in comp like Jordirex's Huntress.

Yeah, if people are just enjoying some crazy moves in a respectful manner that's nice. But most players would certainly be all toxic about it and t-bag after getting the unbreakable into pallet stun and hook safe at the cow tree. And then killers react to that similarly, camping the girl on second stage as huntress and so on. So we would end up in classical all meta perk, tryhard bully squad situation, which no one likes and everybody is sweating their ass off.

I’ve noticed it in the RU-vid comments as well Like it’s just a game and just some perks. Yeah they’re second-chance perks but killers have them as well. Then calling them bad just because of a few mistakes. Someone called them a baby bully squad as well, when they’re just a group playing the game trying to escape. It’s just a bit sad to see really. Then when no one wanted to give hatch simply because of what perks they had

Yeah Otz’s viewers are really just weird people like that. They act all nice and then when they see any slightly good opponents that Otz faces they get really defensive for some reason

@@evehellod9776 It's likely killer main PTSD from being trolled and BM'ed nonstop. I've only been playing a couple days so I'm not going to judge everyone but the behavior I have experienced from survivors so far has probably been the worst I've ever seen in a game. It doesn't matter how a game plays out the survivors BM me. I don't know how much of it is actually mean spirited and how much is due to having almost no way to interact with people. I've had only one short conversation with a survivor in the postgame chat and one survivor gg'd me back. They have made the game so anonymous to prevent toxicity that it honestly feels a little weird and I think it has done the complete opposite.

I way prefer the original. It’s much more in line with her lore as a big strong Soviet woman living in the woods who like…killed soldiers. She sounds much stronger and more powerful in the original.

A big reason to do it with huntress is when using oak haft, which makes a hatchet cooldown nearly half the length of a M1. If your close up, got a spare couple hatchets, and already pulling back the hatchet, it’s worth it

@@voltage3208 A good Huntress would know that it's hard to hit them around a medium-sized loop like that though. Without any holes in the middle or anything you'll be walking around it all day if you keep readying hatchets.

I've noticed that a couple of times too. I main Spirit, and I'm always very attentive to sounds, and I swear I don't hear as boons are placed sometimes, but then I find them.

@@Teban100 yeah, i mean, i play more survivor than killer so i'm probably biased in this regard, but find noed to be worse. with DH and DS, you're most likely gonna down the survivor anyways, it's just going to take up a little bit more of your time. whereas with noed you can play a game perfectly and kick the killer's ass, but then as soon as the last gen is done, he can down you and get kills despite being garbage at the game. but again, that's just my perspective.

If you aiming - press M1 (Left Mouse) and you will close hatchet throw by that

You avoid the animation of your character cleaning their weapon so it's very easy to chain a point blank axe throw into an M1 for a quick down

faster cooldown plus it's a characteristic that good huntress's do to attest to their level of skill, it's more respectable and newer players just m1 all the time so it's easy to tell when they're not as skilled

M1's have a cooldown which can put the survivors into a better/safer place. if he didnt charge the axe, the survivor would've jumped the window & the chase would have lasted a lot longer. the survivor was afraid to jump the window as it'd increase their chances of being hit

My girlfriend has an account and she’s low ranked yet half of her games have red rank survivor in it

When you m1 successfully you get an animation that makes it so that you cant attack for a couple of seconds, but hitting a hatchet toss doesnt do that. They get the burst of speed either way but at least that way they dont make as much distance, so its usually better to injure with hatchet toss and down with m1 or hatchet toss. If you watch the animations again im sure youll see it.

The recovery for M1s is longer

Power has a shorter cooldown than m1, the hit at the window early on is a prime example.

He was using the Oak Haft add-on for Huntress, it's good to hatchet when they're healthy and close to you anyways though. But with that add-on it's possible to hit someone at a window/pallet if they're not too close to it after getting hatcheted.

Against intermediate players, yes. That level of player knows not to run as soon as they hear the lullaby, so the perk might let you catch them off guard. However, proper players won't fall for it, as you can roughly tell how far the huntress is by the volume and clarity of the lullaby. If you're in a swf, so you can run preemptively if nobody is in chase and you can tell the huntress is approaching

Paired with infectious it has value in synergy. Makes the infectious proc 8 meters wider in range since your terror radius with MAA is 8 meters longer while in a chase. You’re technically still in a chase when you down someone, and on huntress (who only has a 20m terror radius by default) infectious wouldn’t be so useful without MAA alongside it

@@honeybon06 infectious fright triggers in a flat 32m AoE. It doesn't scale off of terror radius
