Dude I feel like Hex: Plaything in general is one of the best killer perks in the game, because it's good on every killer, it's a gen slowdown by providing them an extra objective at times, or make them lose their ability to detect how close you are to them.

I love how Otz drops these and then every killer runs whatever build he does 😂

The last endgame are the most fun situations you can have in Dead By Daylight. The way they make your heart rate go up as killer and the survivors trying their absolute best to save someone. You never know when a mistake has been made and the tables turn, ahhh I hate this game.

I just started playing Wesker (kept delaying playing him, prioritizing other killers) and man.. I wish I started sooner. He's so much fun! Great timing for this vid, discovering all sorts of great builds on him!

dbd should introduce competitive mode with seasons where there is a curated list of available perks, they can shift the meta entirely every few months without breaking the game for everyone

I’ve been running this build on wesker for a while now and just saw this video and didn’t even realize Otz had made a video on it! It certainly is a great build, helped me in many games

Change Corrupt to Ruin to make sure you have 5 totems. Then use the ability to quickly move around the map and get full 5. Also could use something like Devour, but Ruin is good for early pressure

As I was looking for a new build for wesker too. I hate using and playing against eruption and cob as I see it as unhealthy for the game so this is what I needed

I love the fact that survivors can just bless the plaything and get rid of the hex with out losing anything. You shouldn't be able to bless hex totems

I've been running running a variation of this with Hex: Retribution and Undying instead of Corrupt and Pain Res. It's a lot of fun.

I used to run this build for some days with the exception of Corrupt being replaced by Bamboozle (because it's priceless to see survs running to blocked windows and then having to turn around. Also without it this game feels like Scooby Doo to me. You know, the gag with the gang and the bad guy coming in and out of the 6 doors). Pretty fun indeed, but don't suit my playstyle, specially now that Nowhere to Hide is in the game. Thanks for the vid :)

This one of those builds that can perform on most killers , particularly killers with above average map pressure . I run stuff like this on the dredge and it is evil to be able to teleport and rekindle

I play wesker a lot, maybe more than other killers, and i can't play without playthings because is so good on wesker, even better in closed maps because sometimes u can oneshot with the power doing a jumpscare dash

I guess maybe it is just my lower MMR but I've been playing Mastermind a few times over the past couple of days and tons of people just outright ignore my terror radius. I walk right up to them and while I might not get a grab I do get a lot of free hits. I guess because the T.R. is so huge people just start to ignore it. I know I've found myself thinking "Oh, it's a Mastermind, I don't need to worry about the T.R. just yet like I do with other Killers." and have to sort of not do that. What I'm saying is Plaything probably wouldn't do much for me. Midwich hooks are so messed up because of the floors, I really wish the devs would tweak the spawn logic so two extra hooks spawn on that map so you don't run into the case of having one hook in the corner of the map on the bottom floor and two hooks on the floor in the corner above it. Or have the basement screw you over by having NO hooks in the bottom area of that map and THREE on the floor above. Thanks for the video Otz!

Idk, that first game looked a bit like a solo q nightmare. The hard tunnel on the Nea, into the Rebecca giving up on her second hook, and the Meg of course dropping everything to stealth it out and let Jill eat shit alone. Meg was of course using fucking Mettle of Man and only seen once in the entire match lol

tried this on blight, worked really well (easy 4k) thanks a lot otz

I still think the best build you could run on Wesker would involve perks that take advantage of his enormous terror radius like Unnerving and Coulrophobia.

That's the thing is bad about Otz - he thinks the other people are dumber than him, and there he received a sweet revenge. )))

I'd swap out Corrupt Intervention for Deadlock, No Way Out, or Sloppy Butcher. Sloppy Butcher gives slowdown regardless of how you attack enemies as Wesker which is massive and means you don't have to waste time trying too hard going for those M2 attacks. This way you get value regardless. Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain could also be great to make gens even slower and give that Sloppy Butcher effect if you're confident enough in your M2s and Scourge Hook RNG.

Plaything is fr so nice on weaker. Either surprising them sometimes or having that extra slowdown with his power slowdown. I honestly forgot about pentimento I should probably use that with it sometimes.

During the second game a Nea crouched while you were using your power and you missed her afterwards and were confused as to why. The reason for this is because you can crouch tech Wesker, and reduce your chances of getting hit by his power significantly when you do. What is a crouch tech? Quite simply knowing when to crouch to reduce your chances of getting hit, you can crouch tech Demo shreds, you can crouch tech BIlly chainsaws, you can crouch tech Blight rushes. A nice but of information to know against these killers.

I have a beast and an OP build for you to try out. I was not aware of just how good this build actually is. Perks: Deerstalker, Dissolution, Knock out, and Spies from the shadows. Addons: Red Herb and Video Conference Device. This build is definitely a must try.

Ive been using a build similar to this. Instead of corrupt and pain resonance, I've been using third seal and pop.

What if corrupt intervention changed from the start of the game to activating randomly after a generator is complete the chance becoming 100% when 1 generator is left blocking the three closest gens allowing for the killer to set up slightly in the middle of the game instead of a needed rush at the start?

Huh, I was using this exact build on Wesker since I don't like using eruption. Biggest issue though is the teams running nothing but boons which is pretty common nowadays.

My Wesker build is really similar to this but I use franklin's demise instead of corrupt to really to really add an extra annoyance

Instead of corrupt I would use devour hope because if survivors don’t want to cleanse the plaything because they think pentimento, then they will be exposed most of the game which means they would most likely cleanse all of the totems

I think I'd rather have Starstruck or Devour Hope instead of Corrupt, so I can potentially get some instadowns if they avoid cleansing Plaything. Devour also pairs well with Plaything/Pentimento since its another totem they have to cleanse.

Okay so that build I told you about earlier. I just made an even better build for Wesker. This could possibly be the best build for Wesker yet. I'm pretty sure this build will make Wesker a god if you master this build. Perks: Call of Brime, Merciless Storm, Overcharge, and Spies From The Shadows. So you mainly want to damage gens so you'll get a lot of gen regression and block gens when they are at 90% and survivors miss skill checks or stop repairing them and you'll have Spies From The Shadows so that you'll always know what gens survivors are going to making it much easier to know what they're up to. Addons: Iridescent Uroboros Vial and Lab Photo. All survivors will start the game completely infected and suffer exposed status effect for 30 seconds and you break pallets and breakable walls when colliding while using Virulent Bound. This build is very terrifying when equipped to Wesker. I just finished a game and 4k'd a group of tough survivors who actually knew what they were doing. Trust me when I tell you that this is not a build you want to go up against. Wesker will be a literal god playing with this build. I got over 40k bp and every single one of these survivors got over 20k bp and one of them was T100 and got nearly 30k bp. Survivors will once again know terror with this build.

I'm not a best dbd player but in my opinion otz could used the oblivious effect better in second match by not using his power to travel because the noise the wasker does when uses his power and alarm survives near him

so how do you play against this well?

Even though this is random dedicated servers makes plagues hit boxes feel EXTREMELY bad
