Abyssteus searches level 4 or lower Mermails, so both the monsters are searchable! In regard to tributing question, I am not sure why that card has that wording, but because the card is sent to the gy as cost it does in fact trigger the Atlanteans. There must be a reason for that word choice, but it does not create any anti-synergy! As evidence, “sent” is encapsulating of any way a card is sent to the gy. For example, Druiswurm has to be sent from the field to the gy to trigger its gy effect. If you tribute it for Econ or a tribute summon, it still triggers.

Abysshrine does trigger atlantean effects with her tribute effect, you can also summon coelcanth with her effect which is huge (level 7 fish) Posiedra can xyz over itself, the second effect isn't a once per turn either fyi And you play at least one of abyss- equips anyway, they aren't bricks in the slightest. Royal is definitely one of the best cards in this support set Abyss-sting is just amazing all throughout. Can recycle used dragoons to keep grinding, doesn't get rid of the reborn monster just the equip itself Also if Royal equips Abyss-sting, it will get the protection so it's not dead either way

Fam Mermail Abyssteus searched a lvl 4 or lower mermail monster so you can search for that card you have the rank 3 mermail XYZ don't forget that card
