the fact that these guys can play songs from any album and it'll still be one of the greatest metal shows of the year. that shows true perfection of the art. these setlists span 30 years of material....mind blowing.

1:27 -- Broken Cog (Immutable) 7:02 -- Light the Shortening Fuse (Immutable) 11:38 -- Rational Gaze (Nothing) 16:55 -- Pravus (ObZen) 22:30 -- The Hurt That Finds You First (Koloss) 29:23 -- Ligature Marks (Immutable) 35:14 -- Born in Dissonance (Violent Sleep of Reason) 39:43 -- Mind's Mirrors (Catch Thirty Three) 44:13 -- In Death - Is Life (Catch Thirty Three) 46:14 -- In Death - Is Death (Catch Thirty Three) 54:19 -- The Abysmal Eye (Immutable) 59:55 -- Straws Pulled at Random (Nothing) 1:08:34 -- Demiurge (Koloss) 1:13:39 -- Future Breed Machine (Destroy Erase Improve) Loved the guy in the back "YES! yes! yes! YES!" for Mind's Mirrors + In Death Is Life/ Death. It is SO good to hear C33 stuff again. Also surprised but glad to see them not play Bleed. A welcome change. Like AaL with Cafo, it's good, but it's only so interesting to milk the same cow for so long. Great footage BTW

Great show, they always live up to their reputation. Sucks they don't play anything from Chaosphere anymore... New Millennium Cyanide Christ was the song that got me into Meshuggah so I'd be bummed if I saw them and they didn't play it. They have so much material now it must be tough to pick what songs they want to play. I was lucky enough to see them pretty early in their career when they still played stuff like Humilitave, Soul Burn, or even Sickening... Perpetual Black Second is another one that hits super hard live that I love seeing them play. Also, that Broken Cog song from the new album really works well live as an opener with the psychedelic special effects.

Some songs also sounded louder/quieter than others. Frederik's solos were on the whole too quiet compared to the other instruments. It certainly wasn't terrible though, and of course the band put on an incredible performance. It's probably hard to get a room of that shape + size sounding good wherever you are sat or stood

When I got to this riff on a first listen, I shit you not, _my brain turned into a car, Fredrik and Marten got in, and started doing fucking donuts in my skull._ Perfectly structured vortex of chaos. Then I learned to play it on guitar and realized its literally the same riff as the one before it just with every other note yeeted up an octave, but in such a way you'd swear they wrote it backwards. This band just blows my mind on repeat, forever and ever, amen, hail Satan.

I had tickets for the first floor but got in the pit just after Zeal and Adror ended their set, without any issue !

Not even close to being among the heaviest. One of the most complex, yet not too underground-like? Absolutely. Heaviness? 7.5/10

@@Leicahartt I will on 29th of September. Have you ever heard about grindcore? Give "Methwitch" a listen. I would recommend song called "Burn victim"

@@dmytrotsvyntarnyi799 they’re insane live. Methwitch are really good yeah but I personally think meshuggah are heavier

Thanks for upload! Was there too! Going to a Meshuggah concert and meeting the fans (all round great ppl btw) was such a great experience. The only thing I would say is I hear you were probably covering the mic when recording slightly spoiled the sound. Other than that great upload 😉 sub

Thanks! Yeah there wasn't many good places to hold the phone so parts of it might be a little muffled - was trying to hold it still against the railing but ya know - kinda hard when the whole thing is shaking :D

@@cheesewomanShaking? I didn't feel anything... Maybe bcoz I was headbanging all the way through 😅 Still feel a bit bummed they didn't play Violent Sleep of Reason track. It would've been the perfect set if they did. Still no better band to see live atm imo
