It says choose any number of ANY players locks (including yours) and if you unlocked “a card” (including yours), you can restand rearguards equal to the number of units unlocked, whether it’s you or your opponent’s cards.

Unlocked cards are always in the standing position. So if you unlock 4 of your own rearguards, you could hypothetically restand 4 additional units that weren’t unlocked and are in the rested position. Also remember its for any number of cards unlocked, including the turn player. The skill does not require the opponent to have locked or unlocked units.

@@NexusCorps okay i get what you trying to say but how can sacrifice messiah restand if you did not unlocked any card by excelics messiah ability. All you said is "since you have locked card restand this one" how does that work?

Per Excelics’ skill, you can unlock any number of rearguards. If you unlock one or more cards, you can restand rearguards equal to the number of cards unlocked. Unlocked cards are in the stood position. Let me know if you have any other questions

That's what I'm saying I'm bought the Messiah deck dlc on dear days to try it out and I gotta say with the amount of power the deck can put out with the right plays this match should have been a breeze Like for instance one weird choice he made was putting awaking Messiah in the top right rear guard rather than putting it for instance behind his vg so he can use the skill alter ego to lock it and then unlock it with his stride which could have then gave it a power boost (pls don't think I'm trying to be a know it all I just really love card games and I tend to pick up game mechanics and combos really quick and ever since I got into vanguard I've been trying my best to get really good at the game 😅)

@@stormrider8853 yep you are absolutely correct, sometimes we do tend to have misplays but that’s part of the game. But that’s the problem, overtriggers tend to ruin the game in some situations 😂
