It's 2018 and we back!!! I'm not a fan of cold weather so I didn't get a ton of footage...it needs to warm up lol. Make sure to like and subscribe for more👍 Follow me on Instagram for all the updates on this build / cyconxc
Beautiful RC, looks very real with that moving suspension, the video footage makes It like a very real trophy truck.......congratulations for that fine job!!!!
plenty warm in Oz brother trucker, love to see it cut loose on my Trophy Truck track here in my back paddock. It's designed for TT, so lots of fast bumps and cool jumps, and plenty of room. Thanks for the update video, she looks a little more settled. Like you say more running/tunning and we will all see just what lies beneath the cool exterior, very exciting! Happy new year to you and all your 42k subscribers. Cheers from the land of OZ!
2:17 Duuuude! I have the craziest idea! D one of those "forced perspective" shots! Camera low and build a ramp then park a 1:1 scale car far away so it is the same size as your truck. Park it so it is after the jump. Then jump your truck seemingly OVER the car. Heck, you could even do multiple runs and show how the fullsize car pulls into the spot. And/or show someone getting out of the car and looking up WHILE you jump over them! Your truck looks so real, it would be mind=blown :D But anyway, awesome video, glad you stayed out despite the setbacks and cold!
Badass clip bud. May I suggest white wall your tires. Gives them a nice pop with those rims. White walled my pro-line hyrax 1.9's with black axial rims on my vaterra blazer, man do they pop now.
One of the best truck builds out there without a doubt.... But the choise of music ruined it... 1:36 onward ..Sorry...just comparing it to Woops killer. That video with music was the best!!!! 😀 Keep building awesome trucks!!!!😀😀😀
Happy New year bro. You nailed it. I did tell you you are the reason I got in to the hobby cause of that truck. When are you building an 8th scale truck? Awesomeness from your side bro. I'm from South Africa and you don't see RC skills like yours here.
Have you ever thought about doing a scale video? Like run the truck on a track and film it from scale perspectives? One guy made an incredible scale rally video and actually edited sounds of the real car in. He slowed the footage down to make the visuals more scale too
Hey cyconxc I was wondering if you could do a build on a traxxas slash 2wd since that’s what a lot of us have and show us to make something similar to this it would be an amazing thing for you to do and help us out thanks
That'll be something totally different. His truck is totally built bottom up, all custom. You'd have to cut the slash chassis, buy solid rear axle for the rear, custom build a cage for shocks to mount on, rebuild a diff., and so on...at this point, you either have ruined the slash or have to put a ton of effort into making it successful. Otherwise, do alot of suspension/weight tunning on a stock slash, or, sell it and build bottom up too lol. But it's up to you to decide what you want to do with your slash. Anything is possible in this hobby.
I think I get what you're saying and it's a good idea, but honestly the only thing you can use from a slash is the front end. It makes much more sense just to buy those parts instead of ruining a usable truck. Yeah it gets pricey, but welcome to the world of custom builds haha.
