That was a smashing video. Finding that 100 year old cigarette lighter was really something, as were the coins and horseshoes. Makes you wonder who owned that lighter and how it got there. All these objects have lives and stories attached. I would say dig the cauldron. I don't know if it's actually a cauldron but...before the Arthurian legend was adapted to fit the ideals of Christianity, there was a story of how he went to Anglesey and there found a cauldron buried near a lake called Llyn Cerrig Bach. Lake of little stones. This story was evolved into the Grail quest. So dig that cauldron up!

I would finish digging the pot out. From what you removed from the hole, it appears that that area was a stream bed larger than it is now. (Rounded rocks). That -might- have been a cooking kettle, fat rendering kettle, soap making kettle, or ?. The kettle could have been on the stream edge and the stream flooded or changed course and buried the kettle under silt and rocks. In years gone by, the kettle, especially if it was an iron one, would have been valuable. It also could have been buried to keep raiders or vandals from finding it. All speculation right now.

If you dig out an area to work in just next to the hole, you can shovel and trowel without having to reach so far. In other words. Yes. Dig. I don't know how you stopped digging.

people who metal detect hunt the same place for years they say they are never hunted out. its like layers so the more you do it over and over again the more you will find. keep detecting the same yard when you are bored you will find more and more! love the old lighter. you may need to mow that tall area to really detect it the coil needs to be close to the ground.... just trying to help... love your videos. i was writing it may be a steering wheel and you said it lol but it could be from and old tractor or truck from early 1900's

That cauldron, or whatever, looks amazing -- and it must be pretty intact to have been picked up by the detector that deep in the ground. Dig it out! But *WHY* is it there at the level of the creek under 3+ feet of soil and rocks? Are you sure that there is not a cave nearby? And the hill under your home was not the original location of MacBeth's castle???? "Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble." Awesome!

In these time we are having to endure it good to have you both to bring some sunshine to us all. The excitement you show in finding long lost items is fantastic. Whatever the large item happens to be it had to have been buried there purposely because of the stones you found on top. Your property is fantastic, stay safe ladies, stay healthy. @@zerofox7347 If you mean a psychopath, well I can't be that because I have a guilty conscience the size of Jupiter which sings & dances if I so much as speak to someone in a slightly harsh tone, but if I was a psychopath I wouldn't feel any guilt about lying about that would I? Psychopaths are the most convincing liars because they don't even have any feeling they are doing anything wrong. Always best to be precautious, you are right. Enjoy the videos.

That is a deffinate digger. You need to keep going. The pea hens are friendly. My friend sadly lost one of his pea hens to a fox today. Look forward to next adventure. Keep safe stay well 🐝

My grandparents had a peacock that just wandered onto there place out in the Oklahoma countryside and never left. They named it Ahab. 🙃 It took up crowing like a rooster every morning. lol I just love the Schwoos! 🥰

I enjoy the plants, animals, and the environments, as well as the interesting camera angles. The music is also quite lovely. I have tried detecting around my small backyard, only ever find roofing nails and tin foil. Those horseshoes are huge!

Love this! I have the same detector and have found lots in my wee walled Victorian garden. One day my then young son came and begged me to take him out to find pirate treasure. I didn’t really have time but within five minutes we found a key, a ships half penny and an old buckle! He’s was a very happy young laddie! Love your garden and land... so beautiful. And I think the deep dig is definitely a steering wheel. Might be a really nice one though so, keep digging! You might find Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in there! Look forward to meeting you guys after this crazy has died down! Thanks for the videos.... just love them 😊

Hi Cindy from Virginia, USA. Was so good to see you all again. I enjoyed your video. I think finding the coins was exciting and the horseshoes are a part of history. Please continue to dig out that mystery item. Even if it is a sterring wheel it will be an old one. It could be the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow or pirate gold or a heist treasure thats been burried for years. The possibilities are endless. Stay safe.

That might cool to see the cauldron. It's definitely older than the one I have which is over 100 years old. The top rim is a giveaway, where it bellies out under the rim.

Awww...love this video! I must say that your videos have kept both my husband and me sane during our quarantine over here in Bay Area, California. Please, oh please dig out the cauldron! I'm so excited to see what it is. I have pretty terrible anxiety, and have been doing "shelter in place" in Washington State (US) for a month and a half now. Watching the two of you is one of the ways I calm myself out of a panic attack. Thank you so much.

Hello to both of you, You have some lovely countryside where you live, you are very lucky. At least you found a lighter & some horseshoes and a coin (or two). Clydesdales, would make sense, given the size of that shoe, they are big draft horses. Keep up the video's, I love them!! 😍😍👍
