Hey Brother, I just finished the Himeji Castle build. All I can say is "WHEW!" Good build though. parts came together relatively well, and it looks great. Thanks for your video, and the hints it had. If I had tried to do it all in one sitting, I would have lost my mind I'm sure, so I completed it over about a week's time. Anyway, thanks again for the video, and keep up the good work!
@@animateorange You're welcome. On my set of instructions, the writers included your tip about twisting some insert tabs to hold pieces together, then going back to "finish" the part. Good on you that your tips got written into the instructions. It seems Fascinations takes your reviews and advice seriously. Well done!
Thank you for making and sharing this video, I am going to take out mine to assemble some day. And yes, I have been to the castle itself during the cherry blossom season and it was an amazing experience!
Subjects like Himeji Castle might be better assembled on a flat surface, so that their bases sit a little flatter. Also you might consider alternate assembly styles, such as folding the tabs inwards into the interior of the structures; I discovered some (but not all) of the tabs on the Empire State Building can be built this way, resulting in near-invisible seams, and a much cleaner appearance. I'm surprised this one didn't come with some kind of a base or stand; the Taj Mahal sits much flatter because of its wide, flat outer precinct the rest of the building sits on. Thanks for posting!
nice. also I built that movie projector that I'd asked about. not too bad a build. a remarkable number of tiny pieces and the long thin "film" pieces, but it was a success!
El vídeo es bueno porque te lleva paso a paso pero sería mejor si cada vez que termina una etapa, mostrara como queda cada pieza después de colocarla, ya que como los modelos son pequeños, la persona que los ensambla cubre todo con sus manos y lo único que se observa son sus dedos, considero que no agregaría mucho tiempo al vídeo con solo mostrar como queda cada pieza colocada, agradezco los videos y su amable atención
