@@xx_77 you dont even need the upgrades for bd monsoon you wouldnt even need ripper thats how easy bd mistral and bd monsoon is you litterally needed ripper mode for monsoons fight now you dont need it and plus sundowner is stronger than most of the bosses not including (minuano, politician)
@@Insurgency_Raider yep. Sundowner takes him on front and Sam stabs him from behind. Should've been the other way around as sam follows the samurai fighting style which prohibits him from backstabbing but it's still cool.
This feels like something out of a movie. These two work well together. Edit: I am aware these two are actually friends. I'm just saying the two individual bossfights mix well together.
I absolutely love that at 2:48 instead of the expected sundowner does nothing and waits for sam to get his sword he decided to run off and get ready for an attack of his own while he was being given a break. It feels really in character
You have npc or enemies appearing in places that you couldn't imagine a year ago, it is a matter of little time for seeing revamps, expansions or anything aside texture modding.
@Zoomer Stasi that is true but Sam got damaged bc of sundowner when he used the pole as his weapon so basically sundowner did alot of friendly damage and that is definitely not teamwork
0:48 I think thats crazy how sam came in time to stop jack from laying a hand on sundowner. then sundowner points his sword at jack like he summoned sam like a pokemon lol (honestly I'm surprised how no one noticed how awesome that was.)
When you get to the end and realise why you paired Sundowner with Sam... That's just too fucking perfect. But man, this just sounds ridiculous. Absolutely amazing and lovely stuff!
Perfect timing: Raiden kicks out murasama Sundowner: damn, this is fun! Sam: show me a good time jack! He should have said us instead of me lol Part 2 of this comment: Sundowner: (in call) up to you now, sam... Sam: I'll take this dance, since im literally behind him * proceeds to push raiden into the hole raiden made himself *
Yes. Sam attacks at the right moment and breaks Raiden's block so that Sundowner has time to use his strong attack. This is a really cool combination of two bosses.
Theres so many highlights to this silly little mod fight (in no particular order). 0:46 ITS LITERALL ON ANIME FIGHT SHIT SUNDOWNER CHARGES TOWARDS YOU WHILE YOUR TRYING TO FIGHT SAM AND HE DOES THE SAME FOR HIM RIGHT AFTER 1:29 "Worthless scrap!" (Sundowner immediately growls in response) 1:42 Sam charges you while Sundowner uses his unparryable which is ridiculously cool 1:52 Samdowner 2:12 Triple Parry (nice job) 2:31 Jack getting pressured by all three of them is such a cool sequence 2:53 The immediate cut from Sam's rush into him stopping your sword is so quick and I love it. 3:17 Absolute chaos. 3:46 Sam stuns you again in the middle of Sundowner's unparryable move, these two work ridiculously well together for being two seperate bosses 4:26 They are kicking your ass holy shit 5:34 I guess Sundowner just fucking killed Sam with that rocket 7:30 Oh nevermind he lived I guess
What about 3:54 where the soldier is pressuring him and goes for another slash only for him to pop Ripper Mode and slice him twice before he's even close to done with his slash?
Everyones talking about all the cool fight syncs with Sam and Sundowner but no ones mentioning how this man also synched 3:38 with Raiden eating a mans Powerade spine with "The reptiles tail ripped from its back".
@@assfuckerthejointpounder5834 and then commenters come up with an absurd reason as to why it happened, like "Oh, they heard that Raiden/Jack was on an absolute murder spree on their men, so they decided to pinpoint where he'd go next, to then get everyone there to make sure he'd be taken down.
i like how as an insult to injury, both raiden and sam have murasamas, poor sundowner, not in the cool kidz club also the utter madness of this; 3:15 sundowner grabs a giant fucking pipe and starts beating the living shit out of everyone including his goons
When the wind is broken And the fire's unspoken I've even forgotten to wait to see what rots Oh how pretty Or what is the reason I'm standing here holding nature's sacrifice A desolate air blows through With a brisk trace The reptile tail I feel When the sun sets The only thing I know for real We will not forget the blood shed The man in the mirror nods his head over paradise
This moment at 2:47 is so sick! Not only does Raiden do a super sayan finisher to this guy, but he immediately dodges and successfully parries Sundowners next two attacks.
I'm not entirely sure how Exorcist would work, unless of course this is happening in the same Arena, but the biggest Arena for a boss is I'm pretty sure the woman you fight Sam in base game. But we could argue that keeping arms strong instead of Exorcist would even make sense because Armstrong was supposed to beans, we could also have them in his arena for the tossing mechanics, but then there's tank disc and other throwing attacks that you get from monsoon. Wait a minute, the one you fight Ray would be the biggest in base game, my bad. Wait a minute, now I'm not entirely sure. But it's probably Ray. But the area with the most room to fight in would probably be file 01. You get two big sections that you can use, but one of them might not be right compatible. But come to think of it if you were to go into the section where you get to deal with the gecko bot, yeah that's probably enough room for Ray but not much else. The best way of doing this is probably be fighting in Ray's arena with Exorcist just kind of at the edge or putting everyone in the arena where you cite them endgame Metal Gear and monsoon's pretty fine without the tank and and monsoon's pretty fine without the tank disc. I'm probably overthinking this camera but if we do them arena for the rain guy then Ray wouldn't fit.
3:38 When Jack heals to max hp: Sundowner: Ok, I know that I said that you could be crueler, but I didn’t meant this cruel jack. Sam: Why did you gave him ideas?
Oh my god, i'm picturing Sundowner being like "You know what? Fuck you! Undoes all your hard work!" as he rips out and absorbs a blue powerade spine from a goon.
Nah I think Raiden can win this Non Canon Fight. He Will have some problems with Sam while fighting Sundowner, but he will realized he need take down The explosion armor guy first. Tbh sundowner is easy, for raiden is nothing. If put Armstrong and Sam vs Raiden, damn... that is really challenge for him. Of course in that time Sam is dead already but, you know "what if".
@Zoomer Stasi Raiden even in MGS2 was a good warrior, I think you underestimate him, raiden achieved many things despite having a lower body compared to Rising. Raiden knows how to fight without his HF blade or Katana Murasama. His body only maintains resistance to damage, speed and strength, but Raiden's abilities are his own thing and not something cybernetic. In addition, he can be seriously damaged, something that was seen in the scenes. But damn, if even Armstrong didn't put a scratch on the new body, I doubt Sam even with Sundowner could do anything to it.
Me imagino las caras de Sam y sundowner después de romperse la espalda dañando a Jack hasta casi matarlo pero recuperando toda su vida tras matar a un cyborg random XD Jack vs all winds of destructions
I refuse to believe the devs did not want this to be put into the game like look how good these two work with each other, it flows correctly, and both bosses need your attention
Funnily enough: on revengance difficulty sundowner actually gave me the most trouble. I had essentially memorized the other bosses (to the point that I did Sam and Armstrong hitless), but sundowner is so easy normally that doing him on revengance (where mistiming a shield just insta kills you) became one of the hardest fights in the game. Never before has “worthless scrap” been so powerful
It always baffled me, "hey guys he actively taking out some of our best, let's continue to take him on one at a time." I mean by the time of the monsoon fight, I feel like all 3 would stand against him at once.
I wonder if MGR was one of those your actions affects the outcome kind of game, for example: The amount of hostages you save could effect Raiden after Armstrong dies. Or made it where Sundowner and Sam fight you, but if you kill them both, you won’t get the Murmasu Blade and Armstrong kills you. Idk, it’s a concept that seems cool, but considering this came out back in 2014, it probably wouldn’t work out. It’s also a shame the Console Versions didn’t get the Boss Selection menu like PC did.
How has no one talked about how fitting the call is at the end?! If this were part of the game and not a mod, the fight should've just continued between raiden and Sam after the call where Sam is like his phase two
I really like this video, they are not only good friends but also in synch aswell, best part is that it would be lore friendly to fight both of them and have Sam escape. Finally Sundowner becomes a threat with Sam as backup.
I have always loved how sundowner is supposed to be this huge threatening figure with what’s imo the best theme but then he tips like a cow when you rip off his explosive reactive armor and beat the snot out of him.
@@bdhhsgbyddhggg If I was in Sundowner's place I would throw everything at Raiden too. That guy killed a cyborg who can seperate himself into multiple pieces by cutting him into multiple pieces, and also flexed a MG Ray
@@timmythepinky9137 the point being that Sundowner knew he couldn’t beat Raiden in a fair fight, so he didn’t fight him fair Which is what a coward would do
It's scary how well the two are synced up, Sam calmly moving to the side as Sundowner starts his second phase and then the two of them immediately doing a double team of sorts with Sam lunging at Raiden right as Sundowner's doing that unblockable scissor attack to pretty much guarantee a hit. It doesn't seem unfairly overwhelming either, their attacks work together with Sundowner constantly keeping the pressure on with Sam suddenly cutting in (ironically) out of nowhere but it is still reasonably beatable at least on a lower difficulty.
Fun fact: despite everyone memeing how Sundowner dies way too fast, Sam actually has the same amount of hp as Sundowner, it’s just that Sam actually knows how to block without his shields
3:15 The sheer chaos on display here. First you have to take care of the special sword enemies while also keeping an eye on Sundowner who is swinging a giant pillar at you alongside also needing to block all the rush attacks coming from Sam off-screen and of course the damm helicopter spraying bullets endlessly giving you no chance to stand still like holy shit. If you are someone who fought Armstrong on revengence mode and found the fight boring then this mod is most likely made specifically for you lol.
