the way they stand side by side during that short clip Monsoon looking back at the sword like: "damn he got you good" then they both jump back into action perfectly in sync (though monsoon gets clipped by the em grenade and falls on his face rip)

I like how when Sam gets disarmed, Monsoon says “too fast for that” like he’s making fun of Sam for letting Raiden knock away his weapon. And then they do an epic pose together.
And Sam slams his head on the soil when Monsoon says "I hope you choke!", I wonder if this is the work of organic AI. It is really fun to watch, regardless
4:09 right after this part where Sam just slams Raiden, and the Moonson uses the fog this part looks incredible! The way that Sam and Moonson coordinate here during the fog and not letting Raiden do almost anything is insane, like a non stop barrage of attacks in that part
11:42 The fact that you can see red flashes from a distance is pretty epic, imagine seeing Raiden fighting from a spectator far away and seeing red flashes appear multiple times and such.
I feel like something even worse would be Sam, Monsoon, Mistral and her simps. Mustard gas and a magnetic man stabbing you (london moment) while Jetstream Sam goes into Phase 3 and the arena starts to get filled with little ball simps.
just image an ultra amalgamate of all the bosses you fight into one. Sundowners shields, Monsoons gravity, Mistrals army, Sams sword, LQs intellect and mobility, the two metal gears size, and Armstrongs strength. Hell maybe even throw in a couple grads. probably have 800% HP and 3 phases. the boss that'll *never rest until* everything's destroyed

This looks surprisingly fun. I was expecting it to be them knocking you down repeatedly while you spammed nanopastes, but they actually work together well. Their attacks work together instead of merging into a chaotic undodgeable mess, and both of them are clearly visible at the same time. They even work together, with Sam and Monsoon defending each other while they're down. It almost feels like they were made to be fought together even though they weren't.
@@BeaniesFrogMan I beat him with A tier in like 7 minutes with only sword and pincer blades and he even told me "Do what you please". He's only supposed to say that if you do trash, and "NOOOO STOP IT" if you do good. That was the first time I got the first message and it was my best attempt. Monsoon is an idiot.
Monsoon mocking Sam saying "Too fast for that!" And standing next to him, with his back turned to Raiden and flipping his sais around just gave him that extra two steps to being a Sonic OC. Though I prefer Sam with Sundowner as that's more two halves making a whole, Sundowner's oppressive strength and defense combined with Sam's overwhelming speed and flawless skill. Him and Monsoon also work really well as it's just two fast guys constantly swarming you with attacks, they just seem to keep coming at you and it's especially noticable during Monsoon's bit with his phosphorus grenades with them both jumping at you through the smoke, absolutely terrifying but fun.
this is such a perfect depiction of how this fight would actually play out, just raiden juggling both of them, while they tear him apart, and cooperate in interesting unexpected ways, but still not fully working together given they both are more use to fighting on their own
Which ultimately would be the only advantage that could allow Raiden to win, concentrating on attacking one of them while fighting defensively against the other, which is what happens in the fight, Raiden hardly ever attacks Sam, and when he does it is mainly as a counter to Sam's attacks, but he is always concentrating on Monsoon and going after him.
At the very end, on the codec with Monsoon in his final words, you can hear "EN GARDE!" in the background courtesy of Sam, meaning he wasn't deleted after the final quick time event happened. Which would be really funny if Raiden said "Youre memes end here," and then gets nailed by Sam's charge attack.
It’s awesome how well some of these bosses work well together. But I’d say the Sundowner Sam Combo has this beat. But I’d like to see a mod where a monsoon is thrown into the mix with the final fight with Armstrong I think those two would work stupidly unfairly well with each other.
you know, this 10:11 should look silly, but the way raiden tests monsoon and then decides that sam is the only valid target right now, it ends up looking cool somehow. sam can only turn his head slowly to watch how raiden casually saunters over and gets to work on him.
I'm genuinely surprised how well this worked out and how cool it looked, especially right when the lyrics kick in and Sam waits for Monsoon to do a few attacks before taking his turn
BRO, at 3:34 Sam saves Monson's ass and then at 3:43 they Wombo combo Raiden with Moonsoon's smoke bomb, and then AGAIN at 4:10, but more coordinated against Raiden , that's pretty epic. Same with the response at 3:21, Sam looses his sword, Moonsoon mocks him for it while looking at the sword LMAO
I love that lately a lot of these mods have been popping up. I have a question: would it be possible to set friendly AI? Such as Bladewolf's boss AI set against other enemies?
Still baffles me how well they work together considering it's literally just placing Sam in the fight. Like the amount of times they work together or save each other
Sundowner was more awesome but this is still cool. I like how Sam's tempo pairs well with other boss fights. The smoke bomb sections are the best here.
imagine when you defeat one of them monsoon reassembles himself and pieces of the old broken vehicles to create a mech that covers sam. kinda like a mistral armstrong. can give himself new pieces of armor is hard to kill canonically. so you would have to destroy a certain area of the armor and tear apart sams real limbs. once all the limbs are destroyed all the armor goes to the limbs, exposing his head and torso. only then can they be defeated.
