Big boss: here's your...sword? Raiden: Bad idea, the tech for that isnt made for another 30 if someone studies any body hit by it could cause a time paradox, I'll just take on of your guns
So... I appreciate the addition of the sword, just as acknowledgment, but it pains me to see it pushed away so callously. But I am glad MGR was getting some love, even if we never got to see a sequel to it.
Well back then it wasn't as popular as today and so called "Fans" stated it is not an Metal gear game so if only people appreciated it more as now we might have gotten a sequel but it is already too late for that. The people who made it are scattered around the globe right now
I mean series has people with bat shit insane powers. There psychic powers, immortality and even people that can create electricity as well Villians with tiny robots inside them. I wouldn't be surprised if the game starts turning into an action game into DMC
Crazy how this was apparently hidden in the 30 minute demo that was Ground Zeroes and I didn't manage to find it. I figured my MG:R obsession would have led me to stumbling across this easter egg at some point over the years.
Lord wise, Raiden wouldn’t have been able to use the HF blade to its full potential since there’s no cyborgs for him to kill, but also this takes place in like 1978, Raiden knew it wasn’t the greatest idea to use a weapon of the future since people of this era could analyze the HF wounds and create HF blades early
@@thedeadlymauraderthedeadly801 bullshit, those aren't cyborgs that need blade mode or ripper mode to cut. Raiden can kill people just fine with that sword without charging it and in gameplay as well
I know it's a meme, but I bet that in world explanation The advent of watermelons was that Riden wanted to give a traditional Japanese gift to the helicopter crew and Big Boss - very expensive perfect watermelons.
And nobody comments about the ridiculously in-your-face reference to "Snatcher", on Sega CD, complete with a rendition of one of the Snatcher theme songs? Man... sad day.
Played GZ when it first came out, and I just found out about this mission last month. Recently got back on GZ just unlock this mission and it’s so fun to play
oh my goddddd i neeeeeed a raiden game with these mechanics i mean i love revengeance hack slash and ninja run through anyone in your way but damn would it be fun to do stealth as the high heel cyborg man ESPECIALLY with these game mechanics.. man i hope the right person reads this one day :((
I wish we had that and Metal Gear Solid level story telling while keeping MGS 5’s gameplay mechanics. And also having David Hayter be the voice of Snake. Kojima switching up voice actors like that really killed the immersion for me, but it’s a fun game nonetheless.
@@AlexWithington oh yeah right right. But what would have been dope if David Hayter would be the voice right when that switch up occured with "Ishmael" in that scene. :D
@@AlexWithington It was for Naked Snake/Big Boss as well. They used the same voice actor in Ground Zeroes. But it would’ve been dope if Ishmael changed up to David Hayter. I just think it’s a good game, just not a good Metal Gear Solid game.
