Hopefully you'll one day get to my recommended Pit of Consciousness official vid. IMO it's one of their better "guitar" songs and just song overall. BTW , I sent a link to a rig rundown in two other react vids. Also mentioned that Eugene joined a two guitar band that became a one guitar band. Thus him stretching out playing melodies and tapping to fill out their sound. Cheers!
Check out their live performance of Exposed As A Liar from their Crowd Factory DVD trailer. It's my favorite live footage from them. The second guitarist is group founder, Dmitry Osken. He left in 2015 to pursue a career in acting. When he left, there were no charter members remaining. So the entire current lineup is "new". However, they've all been together since at least 2011, with the only exception being Vlad, the drummer, who joined in 2016. The drummer in this performance, and in the Sit, Stay, Rollover video is Dmitry Kim. He left in 2016 after recording their King Of Everything album, to pursue his sound engineer/producing career. The drummer before him fell asleep in a third story open window sill and broke his spine. He was paralyzed from the accident. Tatiana took over vocals in late 2009 early 2010. The founding singer Maksym Fatullaiev made a move to the United States, so Tatiana took over as a favor for Osken, a good friend. Obviously, she never left. I would recommend you check out Unleash The Archers. They are a power metal band. I'm not really into power metal usually, but they are exceptional imo. Watch "Awakening" as a good starting point. I would guess you already know Devin Townsend, but if you aren't familiar, you would enjoy that rabbit hole I'm sure.
Roman said they wrote this and another song called When Two Empires Collide around the same time and were imitating LOG's and Chimaira's style, but once Tati added vocals it definitely wasn't Lamb of God anymore. This lineup had Dmitriy Oksen on guitar, who was the last original member. This was the last album he did with them and the last time they used drop C, he quit in 2015 to be an actor. And as far as other songs go, they really don't have a bad song. There's not a lot of bands that can say that, but their style varies so much, they always keep things interesting.
Let me put it this way: I've woken up to this song every day for a year, and it's STILL not old, lol. It's not the most impressive musical composition, but just such a steady, confident banger of a track. I literally threw-up to this song live, lmao, but dehydration may have had something to do with that, too. Anyways, this video actually syncs the studio version over the live video, but they also backtrack the rhythm guitar for performances now and it still sounds immaculate. This Jinjer week was a perfect little Jinjer-Binge for my Saturday. Thanks!
Completely agree about the evolution of the band. They've moved from solid with potential to one of the highlight metal acts of the last couple of years. You'll have to give a listen to their latest album Macro when you get chance, super heavy jinjerness!
This is my favorite track from their cloud factory album. The entire album is great. Other notable tracks from cloud factory are no hoard of value, cloud factory, who is gonna be the one.
Each of their albums has a different feel to it. That's partly because of the time between them and the different drummers, plus having only one guitarist for some. The exception is the Micro EP and Macro album. They were written closely together and are connected lyrically as well.
Check out more of the songs from their album, King Of Everything. Words of Wisdom is nice and Heavy, and Just Another has a catchy af chorus. And I think they really started the melodic breakdowns with the song I Speak Astronomy

do another Macro song next. they said Macro is their first album where there were no compromises and every band member is really satisfied with every song. imho their best album so far. every song a killer (although that fits every album since cloud factory for me).

If you don't know them, try listening to Sikth. Bland street bloom is a great track so start with. These guys are among the OG's of Djent bends that didn't became huge due to unplanned halt.
"Cloud Factory" isn't new, but it's sort of a mix of "how they might want to be"? Maybe where they were headed... I had to listen to it about 10 times before I liked the entire song. Their stuff grows on you, and with the differences, it takes a while to absorb... Pisces-- 20 times for me... then I went, "hmm, I guess I better check out more or their stuff..."
Their lineup has changed a lot. None of the original lineup remains. Of the current lineup Tatiana has the longest tenure. For all practical intent and purpose it is her band. This link is to their song Exposed as a Lair. Crowd Factory was an early DVD (pre Cloud Factory) that is very rare and highly sought after. Cloud Factory (not Crowd) was their next Album and a song on that album which Outlander was on.
Her clean voice had a very cool edge back then that I really like. She’s improved in many ways over the years, but there’s just something about these older tracks...
If memory serves me there is not a single original member left in the band. Tatiana came in "just temporarily" after the original singer quit. And the rest have left too.
