I don't think I ever finished extruded aluminium with a sheer tool. I should give it a go one day. It seems to work just fine.

Dont really need any cutting fluid for the aluminum with HSS, I noticed a worse finish when I used cutting fluid and WD 40

Probably quite literally from two days in a row of staying up till 6 am pursuing the perfect finish (-: I'm no expert, but the shaper is a great way to loose all day and night on a project. @@TheAyrCaveShop
